For Austin's hottest DJ, Jungle Julia (Sydney Tamiia Poitier), dusk offers an opportunity to unwind with two of her closest friends, Shanna and Arlene (Jordan Ladd and Vanessa Ferlito). This three fox posse sets out into the night, turning heads from Guero's to the Texas Chili Parlor. Not all of the attention is innocent: Covertly tracking their moves is Stuntman Mike (Kurt Russell), a scarred, weathered rebel who leers from behind the wheel of his muscle car. An average Taratino film Customer Review Rated Bad 6 - 6 out of 10
Death Proof in my opinion is definitly not the best Tarantino film.Most people who saw Death Proof thought it was one of the worst film of 2007 and only few liked it alot. To me one of the best Taratino films of the decade still is Kill Bill vol 1.

The first half of Death Proof is good.The mysteriousness of stunt man mike (Kurt Russel) is great and he probably did the best acting out of the entire film.The women in the first half were ok and their death scene was probably one of the most shocking deaths ever and Tarantino knows how to really shock you through violence.

The second half shows four women.The film doubles back on itself and repeats the first half over again,just this time it happens during daylight.You get to see great stunt work (as the women fight back),high speed well choreographed,and even better shot car chase scene.

The main problem I had with this film was infact Tarantino's dialouge.I have nothing against his dialouge but it is the way most charaters say his dialouge and they say in a way that I didn't really care about them.

An average film.
