メキシコのプエルト・バジャルタ。船で世界を放浪していたトレイスが町に戻ってきた。懐かしい友人たちとの再会もつかの間、海で泳いでいた親友のリタが謎の生物に襲われて命を落とす。その直後、メキシコ救助隊が同じ生物にボートごと食べられてしまう事件が発生。警察は、イタチザメに襲われたとして事件を処理するが、救助隊が襲われた現場を目撃したトレイスは、水界生態系の環境科学の専門家キャロルとともに独自に追跡を始める。調査を進めるうち、１億５０００万年以上前に絶滅した生物と謎の生物が酷似していることに気づく。実は３年前にアラスカの氷河が崩れ落ちた時、氷の中に閉じ込められていた古代の生物“ディノシャーク”が海に放たれ、命を吹き返していたのだ。橋を飛び越え湾に入り込んだディノシャークは、ヘリや船を次々に襲い犠牲者は増え続けてゆく…。今、トレイスは決死の覚悟でディノシャークとの対決に挑む。 予告編
