In March of 2007, SS501 set out to Japan to promote their music. It seems their hard work and perseverance have paid off as the boys wrapped up their Japan promotional activities on a high note, clinching the year's Best 10 New Artist award at the Japan Gold Disc Awards in March 2008. Making their comeback in Korea, SS501 is now releasing their third single album Deja Vu. Containing a total of three dance tracks, the new album is only the beginning of what's to come as the boys gear up for another single the coming summer and a new full-length album scheduled for release later in 2008.

Composer Kim Tae Hyun, who wrote Unlock from SS501's first album, rolls up his sleeves once again for the title track Deja Vu (Track 1). Reeling out the group's masculine appeal with powerful, pulse-pounding beats, Deja Vu features a unique blend of R&B and British pop, and showcases Hyung Jun's upgraded sounds, Young Saeng's emotional delivery, Kyu Jong's vocal strength, Jung Min's colorful personality, and leader Hyun Joong's rapping skills. Already making its way to the music chart is Neul boo leu neun no rae ("Song Calling Your Name" - Track 2), a house-style dance number featuring SS501's cute dance choreography. Last but not least, penned by rapper Park Jang Geun, trendy hip-hop dance track Destiny (Track 3) blasts off with crunk-style drumbeats and powerful guitar riffs.

The DVD comes with a music video and footage of SS501's comeback activities in Korea.

Good, but not great! Customer Review Rated Bad 6 - 6 out of 10

I am a huge fan of the track "A Song Calling for you," mainly because of the music video. This was my motivation for purchasing this CD. Having bought many KPOP CDs before, i expected a little more of the packaging. It's just a simple plastic case like any other normal cd. The booklet is short and to the point. Plus, the CD skips on some of the tracks when I play it and it's not my cd player's fault because it does the same thing in my car and on my computer. Oh well, it's a nice addition to by collection and my first SS501 cd. I may have to purchase one of their full length albums in the future to experience all they have to offer.
