Song Il Kook stars as a hotheaded cop in the KBS police drama Crime Squad (a.k.a. Detectives in Trouble). Part of the homicide division of the Seoul Gangnam station, rash detective Park Se Hyuk originally joined the force in order to investigate a case that ripped his family apart. Se Hyuk's act-first-think-later methods and pesky habit of threatening resignation clash with strict police chief Jung Il Do (Lee Jong Hyuk, Chuno) with whom he shares some unhappy history. Can the two overcome their differences and solve the case together?

The gritty cop drama reunites Song Il Gook with his Jumong wife Song Ji Hyo, making her drama comeback as a tenacious reporter. Boys Over Flowers's Kim Jun, Sung Ji Roo (Time Between Dog and Wolf), Park Sun Young (The Sons of Sol Pharmacy House), and Sun Woo Sun (Will it Snow at Christmas?) complete the trouble-prone, crime-fighting squad.
