1978年、田舎町に住むホーク、レックス、ジャム、トリップの4人の少年は、憧れのロック・グループ"KISS"のデトロイト公演のチケットを手に入れた。しかし、独特のメイクと衣装で過激なステージを繰り広げる"KISS"を悪魔の使者だと思い込むジャムの母親に、大切なチケットを焼き捨てられてしまう。そこでホークが機転を利かせ、ラジオ番組の懸賞でチケットを入手。4人は意気揚々とデトロイトへ向かうが、今度はトリップがヘマをやらかしてチケットを紛失。刻々と迫る開演時間、4人は必死の思いでチケット獲得に走り回る…。
