Ah.... Customer Review Rated Bad 5 - 5 out of 10
Well Bae Yong Joon was amazing as usual, but this was probably the worst drama i've ever seen. Although the story between Bae Yong Joon and his teacher is very exciting to see develop, but otherwise it's a waste of 40 something episodes. If you are a huge Bae Yong Joon fan, you must must must see this, but if not plz don't watch this. But the OST is just wonderful!!!

Life, love and family. Customer Review Rated Bad 7 - 7 out of 10
Like many others, I’m curious to see Bae Yong-jun’s performance in other TV series after watching him in his more popular roles in Hotelier and Winter Sonata. "Did We Really Love?" turns out to be the series to get to next.
Initially, I was hesitated or rather be pushed off by pricey dual box sets at the time. Further more, there are a number of negative reviews that made me to contemplate. Even at the release of the repackaging version, I continued to wait out until I bought it recently. Although I did not fall totally in love with the series immediately, I started to enjoy the series as I was getting through it. I’m now happy with my decision because this TV series does really worth it.
The series tells a story of life in different palettes. It depicts life from various angles with the primary focus on love and family. Life is never easy. Yet, one can live a happy life by staying true to oneself and others despite the enduring hardship.
The series is made up of a great ensemble casts. My recommendation is to be patience in the first 5-10 episodes. It will get better as the story progresses. It is best to watch with your family members. Viewing this series, everyone, young and old, will be touched one way or another. The series gives the viewers a chance for reflect about life and re-examine the meaning of love and family. Though the ending is sad, but it is life itself.
Personally, I’m impressed with the memorable performance by the leading actress Kim Hye-soo in the role of Professor Lee Shin-Hyung. The good chemistry between Bae Yong-jun and Kim Hye-soo is noticeable. Their love story in the series pulls viewers’ heart. I’m now interested in watching Kim Hye-soo in other TV series. At the moment, I’m looking forward for the release of her award winning performance in War of Flowers.

Did We Really Love? Customer Review Rated Bad 1 - 1 out of 10
I was so sad and depressed after watching this film. I felt so bad and pity for Jae Ho's life. He had struggled so much and yet at the end it was all wasted because he died of brain cancer. A sickness with no hope and cure. I finished watching the film is because I'm an avid fan of Bae Yoon Jun. I focus more on his acting instead of the story. I hope next time the writer will come up with a light comedy love story which will help the viewer forget their problems

I good not stop watching! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Did We Really Love, was the saddest K-Drama I have seen to date. BYJ's acting in this drama was excellent and his co-stars were perfect for his role. Once I got the drama I watched it in two days non stop and then went to work exhausted but happy, that is how captivating the story line is. I agree with some of the other reviewers the ending was not what you expected. After all it is a TV show and it could have had more hope for those of us watching. Everyone in the show added to the realism of the drama and the comic element. Thanks for a great K Drama series, again!

Bae Yong Jun @ his best.... Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
It took me a long time to actually buy this drama even though at the time BYJ was my absolute favorite of all the actors. I am so glad that I purchased it.
This is definitely one of the saddest dramas aside from "Stairway To Heaven", and "Autumn In My Heart". I couldn't stop watching and crying.
I disagree with many about BYJ not matching with Kim Hye Soo. She is supposed to look older and mature than him. The love he had for her was painful to watch. I could feel his pain as he goes trough all the turmoils in life.
This has to be his absolute best acting...all before he became so famous to choose the same type of roles as "Winter Sonata" and the movie, "April Snow".
It's long and it is extremely sad ending as so many are but BYJ fans, a must see...wish I had the OST...

A Flop! Customer Review Rated Bad 2 - 2 out of 10
A huge disappointment for a fan of Korean movies
and tv dramas.
The main reason unfortunately was that both
actresses were awful in it. Of course, the script
and directing did not help either. Hope the famour Mr. Bae will make wiser choices in the future.

Great acting! but- - Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
Bae Yong Jun's acting was superb. But the writer could have done a better job with the ending. At least remission from cancer as ending. His character went through so much physical and emotional turmoil. Give the viewers some glimmer of hope!!As forthe professor
Lee,I agree with some of the reviews, she's not the right partner for him. Also so m,any characters in the story, making it so long and boring! I noticed fast forwarding the remote to skip those episodes. I'm a big fan fo BYJ. So I will watch all his movies still!

True to life Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
This drama highlights the life of the working class in South Korean. It reflects people of all ages, their emotion, inner thoughts and everyday life. BYJ is truly human. In reality, is it justifiable to sell your soul and dignity for money over love?

BYJ Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
I bought the DVDs of this drama because of BYJ. Once again he has delivered a great performance. This drama makes me wonder what the welfare system is like in South Korea? Esp. for the unfortunate children. I also could not understand why there were so much face slapping in the drama, Jaeho were slapped on the face by everyone that were close to him including his auntie, sister, girlfriends, girlfriend’s parent etc… Is this part of the Korean culture?
