Dig Dug Digging Strike (Japan Version) Nintendo DS

Namco revamps their classic arcade game Dug Dug for Dig Dug Digging Strike, an addictive new action puzzler for the Nintendo DS! Dig Dug Digging Strike combines elements of both the classic Dig Dug and its lesser-known sequel Dig Dug 2. The game makes use of both Nintendo DS screens; the upper screen contains a 3-D top-down view of an island containing some enemies and a large boss. The boss is too big to take down directly, so the player must dig underground on the lower touch screen in order to find a way to take down the boss. The lower screen gameplay is very similar to the original Dig Dug, except there are new goals, plus powerups to help take out enemies. There's even a versus mode which can be accessed using the built-in DS wireless capability.
