October 24, 2008 Highly recommended!Although it was addressed to SBS audience, "Iljimae" bears some strong qualities in the cinematography field. Undoubtedly the director did an excellent job -- especially the fighting scenes were some of the best seen on a TV series-- the actors gave a solid and at times extremely touching performance. The plot-line is also one of the best -- credits to the screen-writers here for the good job, considering they had had to create and work on a story of their own since the production company didn't manage to get the rights of the comic book's original story.
"Iljimae" bears all the elements and values we meet in the most period drama series/films: love, loss, avenge, honour, relations bound to endure and overcome the test of time, purpose and self-sacrifice.
Lee Moon Shik who plays the foster father of Iljimae/Yong/Lee Geom gives one of the best performances (one of the best developed characters).
Lee Jun Ki in the role of Iljimae/Yong/ Lee Geom proves --once again-- he is a truly talented actor, capable of playing a wide range and different roles. It seems his image as a handsome, pretty man has found a rival: his genuine acting talent.
A series worth-watching by everyone, whether fan or non-fan of the particular genre.

(1)Our Price: US$13.99Usually ships within 7 - 14 daysJanuary 23, 2008 It's all about love!...although one does not need to be in love to appreciate Nicholas' melodious songs and his expressive, even dreaming at times voice moving between earth and sky.
The album combines wonderful rock ballads, along with more lively tracks like "Fearless" and "Dance is not for me". Hard to believe there has been years since its original release.
Whether one is a Nicholas Tse fan or not, I highly recommend this album.

January 23, 2008 Excellent album!!!
"Huang" compiles some of Nicholas' well-known songs released on his previous albums. For a non-Nicholas fan, this album is a "MUST", as it provides the best means to get familiar with the artist's work. After having listened to both CDs you will want to listen to it all over again, even buy more of his albums.
Nicholas's performance is emotional, passionate, fresh, original; he certainly gives a little bit of himself in every single song while his voice covers a wide range of emotional colours and expressions.
I give this album 9 ouf of 10 for the only reason I believe Nicholas Tse bears both talent and capability of amazing us in the future even more.
