Bailed out of jail by his brother, Darian accepted to undergo an untested human experiment that implants a 'quicksilver' gland in his head that allows him to turn invisible. The operation was a success, but that's where everything started to go wrong. When his brother is killed, he is forced to enlist as a secret weapon for a top-secret government organization in return for a counter-agent which keeps the gland from driving him insane. Hobbes takes Darian to meet Yuri Gregorov, a Russian undercover agent who heard that Arnaud, the terrorist who killed Darian's brother, is selling chemical weapons. Darian doesn't trust Yuri, so he turns invisible to witness the meeting. Arnaud senses his presence, and pulls a gun…… Darian becomes sick with the flu, and he turns invisible and reappears, that the Quicksilver glad is also sick……
