A+ Songs
This album is more Americanized in genre, but still, totally different from the US/UK Exodus album. These songs are really uniqe to modern J-music which makes them interesting to listen to. Utada really has talent in her musical compositions...!!! |

I don't own it -- Yet
Ok, first off - I love Hikki! All of her music ends up being so appealing to me. I don't own any of her CDs yet, but I have some MP3s and music videos. I've heard 'Distance' and 'Can You Keep A Secret'. Both of them are really good. 'Distance' also has another version, a slower one, called 'Final Distance'. It was made when the gunnings in Osaka came. Or something like that. 'Can You Keep A Secret' is a more faster one, with more of a beat. I love to sing to it!! 'Chikazuki taiyou kimi no risou ni otorashi koborenai Can you keep a secret? hit it off like this hit it off like this oh baby..." okay, I'll stop... hey dont' make fun of me if i can't get all the lyrics right...!! Ok, time to stop. I really think whoever is actually reading my review should buy this and give it a chance!!! YAY! |

Half and half
Half of this song is great. The other half is bad. I find Sunglasses, Kotoba ni Naranai Kimochi, For You, and Hayatochi Remix extremely boring. Wait and See, Addicted to You, Kettobase, and Time Limit are excellent. Can You Keep a Secret, Drama, and Distance are also good. Unfortunately, Hikki's voice struggling to reach the high notes ruins Eternally, which would otherwise be a beautiful ballad. Despite all its low points, I would still recommend this album. |

Hikki's Best!
I am a very big Hikki fan, and when I heard this album, I was like, whoa.... This is truly Hikki at her best. The style of songs on this CD range from romantic ballads ("Eternally") to swanky rock ("Drama") to R&B-pop ("For You", "Wait & See"). The remix of "Hayatochiri" is great too. If you are new to the Hikki scene, or if you are a die-hard admirer of hers, buy this album now! You won't regret it! |

Hikki Ga Saikou-!!
Utada Hikaru (better known as "Hikki") is the ULTIMATE reigning JPop Diva on this planet. People say that Crystal Kay is the next best up and coming. But that girl doesn't have ANYTHING on Hikki. That's for sure. She needs to "learn the ropes" more before she can reach Hikki's peak (if that's even possible xP). Anyhowt, I really enjoy listening to this release from Hikki because it's got a MADD-GOOD R&B feel to it. I recommend listening to 1."Wait & See ~Risk~" 2."Can You Keep A Secret?" 3."DISTANCE" (orignal version of "FINAL DISTANCE") 6."Eternally" 7."Addicted To You(UP IN HEAVEN MIX)" 8."For You" 10."Parody" 11."Time Limit" 13.HAYATOCHIRI - REMIX. You should get this album because most of her songs on here from MTV Unplugged live special she did in 2001. |

Utada Hikaru
WAH! SUGOI! WATASHI KONO ARUBUMU DAISUKI! *ochitsuku* Yea, this is my favorite Utada Hikaru CD. I have to admit that I don't like her lyrics much, "I want to be with you now, futari no distance, etc, etc, etc". The whole English interspersing with Japanese is hard to listen to. However, the songs themselves are very interesting in a good way and if I could only get over this English-Japanese lyric pattern, she would be my favorite singer. However, this is a great CD and I recommend it to all! |

Hikaru Rules!!
I really really love Hikaru Utada's music. But I have to admit, the first time I listen to this album, I didn't like it that much. It was something about her voice that was strange. But one day, it all changed. I don't know how. All of the sudden, I became really attracted to her music and wonder how could I didn't like it before. So I guess I really did find her music amazing; I didnt' say I like her bc she is popular. So to those people who say that Hikaru is overrated, not true!!! Now I love her voice so much; it is really cool and unique. Someone mentioned it earlier that her voice is different from most high pitch japanses singers. I totally agree!! Those high pitch voice is kinda annoying anyway. And most of the time, if they sing in english, I wont' know unless I were looking at the lyrics. hehe. I can listen to Hikaru's music over and over again, and never get bored!!! I really really love almost all of the songs in Distance: Wait and See, Can you keep a secret, Distance, Eternally, Addicted to you, For you, the 9th song, 11th, and Hayatochi. It's really rare for me to like almost all of the songs in an album! She must have done something right!! And to think that she's only 20 years old (i'm 20, too) and can do all this??? What a talented girl!!! I can't wait for her debut in the US. ahhhhhhhhhh (<---screaming with excitement) |
