A must-have for Hotei fans!

Hotei's new CD, "Doberman", is excellent. Hotei does what he does best and just rocks with great new guitar riffs and catchy beats. Fans of his previous work will love the familar styles he uses for "Bullet Rock" or "Twisted Bon Voyage", but he also experiments with new techniques like harpsicord (sp?) for the very visual-kei-sounding "Nocturne No.9" and the Spanish-esque "Desperado". As a bonus, there's also a little flash "music video" for "Nocturne No.9" on the disc that you can watch if you pop it in your computer. Very nifty. All I can say is, if you love Hotei, do yourself a favor and buy this if you haven't. If you're a new fan of Hotei, this is an excellent CD to start out with. You won't be disapointed. |
