Great British Horror Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I first saw Dog Soldiers in May 2002.I knew I was going to like the film because I saw the trailer first. The film had me on the edge of my seat from the moment the two campers are about to get ripped apart (and soon eaten) by werewolves.
The movie is very well made with great action, funny moments and lots of blood and if you want to enjoy it on dvd even more then I suggests you buy the Hong Kong version. It has a good DTS 6.1 english.

"oh sausages" Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I first saw this in the UK a while back, the first 10 to 15 minutes are kinda boring. Just getting to know the characters and all.
At first I thought it was some kinda T/A recruiting advert (soldiers in camouflage gear arriving in a forest in a helicopter) but after 15 minutes, it had me on the edge of my seat in suspense, but I was also trying to do my best from falling off my seat from laughing to much..
I mean there's no CGI (I think too much of the industry is using CGI, and making things look "bone")
I mean the film has some bad points, like after a gun battle, what kinda trained solider would stand in front of a window?
But the comedy aspect, me and a group of friends (prebenders) loved the film.
Most of the humour is very British, so be warned, if you watched East is East and didn't understand it, then you probably won't really get this film. but then again, you might.
No sex or nudity, lots of swearing (I mean what else are you suppose to do when being chased by a 7 foot werewolf? Besides run?), just werewolves, soldiers, boiling water, cups of tea, and a rather big sword. Oh, and lots one liners.
There's a R2 DVD that's 2 disc being released soon, which is worth the wait, extra scenes, deleted scenes and the making of it. Probably no Chinese subs, but the action aspect of the film is pretty amazing.
