Hello everyone, this is a review for TONE japanese blue edition :)

First of all I would like to talk a little bit about yesasia's service which I think is excellent. I strongly recomend you to get your albums with them. I had a few problems with my order since I made a mistake writing my shipping adress and yesasia made an effort to retain it and help me change the adress even when the albums had already left storage (or whatever that place is called) so I'm really thankful and I definitely will be buying with them in the future.

Back to the album, I've been a TVXQ fan for a while now and I had my doubts about this one, since it is the first full album that tohoshinki was releasing after the split and now with just two members. I didn't like keep your head down that much so I was afraid I wouldn't like the sound of this one neither, but let me tell you i was SO wrong.

TONE is amazing, since the introduction song to the last one. I think both members worked really hard to made this and the result won't dissapoint any TVXQ fan out there. The songs are catchy and powerful as always, their vocals just flawless, both of them have improved a lot. The DVD is great as well, it includes a life performance and the making of the promotional photos for Superstar and TONE and you will be happy to see the boys looking handsome and working hard! The case content wasn't any bad either, when I first open it I tought it was pretty cool, this edition comes with the usual and big photocard, a little mini photobook with pictures of them in Spain (I think that's not mentioned in the description so it was a plus for me!), apart from the main photobook in which the lyrics are included. Also, you'd all know by now that it comes with a blue kind of paper-made square that lets you read the hidden messages written all over the lyrics if you cover them with it.

So If you were doubting about geting this, I promise you won't regret buying it. For me, this is one of the best albums from tohoshinki and this edition (blue) is just beautiful! Please suppot Yunho and Changmin and allow yourself to be impressed by the prove of their hard work :)

This is the second album from TVXQ that I bought. I would say that I would never regret buying it!
Well I believe they put a lot of effort into this album and they prove me that they are the BEST DUO ever! They sound so mature and their vocals are undoubtedly powerful especially Changmin and Yunho's rapping is great.

For the fast tempo/dance beat songs, I choose - B.U.T, I Think You Know, I Don't Know and Easy Mind.
For ballad/slow tempo, I choose - Duet, Telephone and Back to Tomorrow.
Well I guess that seems like I enjoy listening to almost all of the songs. ^^

This is the perfect album if you want to listen to the duo singing from a ballad song to a more fast tempo/dance beat song. I'm just loving them more and more. TVXQ 화이팅!

Really wasn’t expecting this. The current YUNHO/CHANGMIN duo-version of TVXQ has been very hardcore with their latest singles. I was kinda expecting this album to be the same way, but I was so surprised at the variety of genres in the non-promotional tracks.

The new non-promotional tracks (not on previous singles) that really caught my attention were I Think U Know, Back to Tomorrow, Duet, and Thank you my girl.

Though ‘I Think U Know’ is definitely a dance track, it’s still different from mainstream pop. The backing trance beat can compete with some of the best techno artists like ‘capsule.’ However, TVXQ adds in their own flare to make the song their own. Changmin simply owns the high backing vocals and chorus. Yunho owns all the verses and digitized raps. However, I love how both members are versatile in swapping parts. I was a little wary from seeing so many songs with Changmin doing all the singing and Yunho just rapping. Both of them are perfectly balanced in this song.

‘Back to Tomorrow’ is a combination of a potential ballad and slow r&b/borderline pop. It’s really different from anything I’ve heard from them before.

'Duet' is also nice to listen to. It's just the right song for a drive on a sunny day. 'Thank you my girl' is really interesting mix of the orchestra pieve 'canon in d' and pop. :)

All the other tracks outside of what was already released and mentioned here received 4/5 from me. Maybe I just need to get used to hearing different styles by these two. :)

This album is phenomenal, there really is nothing left to say :) Yunho and Changmin obviously put a ton of hard work into TONE, and it shows! I truly love each song.

To ai_56_hooi: other than DVD region codes, there is no difference to my knowedge. I own the Taiwanese version of some of T, and the only difference was that the album came with a slipcover of sorts that had the text of the outer packaging translated in Mandarin -- I removed the slipcover, and underneath it was the original Japanese album, albeit the different Region code ^^
