One day Nobita finds a small sapling among litter in the forest. He brings it home and makes it come alive with one of Doraemon's magic gizmos. Soon the cute little moving tree has become a part of the family. Returning to the forest, Nobita, Doraemon, and the rest of the gang accidentally stumble through a tree porthole to Green Planet, which is inhabited completely by green beings. The leaders of Green Planet are unhappy with the great damage that humans have caused to earth, and plan to restore the planet by harnessing Nobita's pet tree's power to destroy mankind. Can Nobita and Doraemon save earth? The 2008 Doraemon blockbuster feature Nobita and The Giant's Legend Of Green Planet carries a very strong environmental message within its usual formula of magical adventure in a new land.
