Written and directed by the famous Wong Jing, best known for his comedies, Doubles Cause Troubles showcases elements of a typical Hong Kong comedy that have proved to amuse generations of movie fans. Made in 1989, the film teams up two skilled actresses Maggie Cheung and "Dodo" Carol Cheng as cousins who quarrels with each other all the time but for no reasons. In order to inherit a fortune, they need to live in the same house for a year. As if that is not bad enough, both girls fall in love with a handsome guy (Wilson Lam). What will happen to their battle for the inheritance and the man? Can the two cousins reconcile?
