Surprise!

I was truly surprised by the story! The film is both nostalgic and refreshing at the same time. It seems to me that Babara Novak is really the ancestor and role model of modern women nowadays: brilliant and independent. Rather than down with love, this film is actually suggesting how women should be in love in the smart way. Love is not love without respect for both sexes. Babara at last wins the true love that she has been longing for with her intelligence. Same with "Catch me if you can", the story happened in the 60's which is pretty long ago when we count ourselves living in the 21st century. However, there is always something about the past that we miss and admire. I have great pleasure in experiencing the past and I guess there is always something to learn from it for it guides our future. A few words to add. Ewan McGregor is just awesome! :) |
