Ride your dragon into scores of foes in Drag On Dragoon 2, the sequel to the popular action-RPG Drag On Dragoon, from console gaming giant Square/Enix! Called Drakengard in the west, the original Drag On Dragoon put the player in the role of Caim, an embittered warrior bound to a dragon. Drag on Dragoon featured impressive one vs. many on-the-ground battles, as Caim could cut his way through scores of foes, not unlike Shin Sangoku Musou (AKA Dynasty Warriors). But Caim could also take to the skies on his dragon to deal out even more pain and punishment!
The same gameplay variety returns in Drag on Dragoon 2, but with added tweaks and graphic effects. Air combat has been improved with even more damage dealt to foes, and ground combat has been spiced up with extra playable characters. True to the Square/Enix tradition, Drag On Dragoon 2 features a deep, involving storyline, this time taking place 18 years after the original game! Players now control a young woman named Manah, who played a vital role in the original Drag on Dragoon as a six-year old girl, but can now dish out some serious damage of her own as an adult!
In addition, Square/Enix has enlisted some notable voice talent for the game. Manah is voiced by popular actress Koyuki (The Last Samurai), while veteran actor Harada Yoshio provides the voice of Manah's dragon, Legna!

| This game is wonderful in all ways. The main characters are Nowe and Manah. The games Starts off with Nowe in the Knights of the Seal with his blue dragon, Legna. After some talking and lots of fighting you meet Manah and move on with a action packed game. I enjoy this game even though I am stuck in it, they supply you with extra training grounds to gain levels with out having to stick to the main mission, storyline. I would recommend this to any gamer. |

| I am still playing this game in Chapter 5. I found this sequel very attractive and I can switch the players to avoid dying in heavy fighting with whole group of enemies. The story is interesting as well, I met Caim (the leading character of the previous one) just now and looks like he is playing on the evil side this time. A lot of weapons to choose from and needed to save up a lot of money to buy them, just like in the RPG games. My feeling is that this time the game is harder to play than the part 1. I will recommend this game to gamers who like this kind of action fighting. Good game. |
