January 30, 2009 The BestI don't like to watch Chinese movies and definitely not kung-fu ones but 'Ip Man' is different. The action is just too good to miss; thank you Sammo Hung. Don't think this movie will ever be outdated; definitely a collector's item.

The Lark
November 19, 2008 It has to be the theme songI watched this movie when I was a little girl (and numerous times!!) and am so glad it's on disc now. The songs are great and all those beautiful cheongsams, they fit so well. And of course, there was Lydia Sum when she was as chubby. Also, keep a watch out for the oh-so-young Joseph Ku when he was probably just starting out.

October 22, 2008 Simply EntertainmentOops! I got mixed up with the characters. There's no Qiao Hong in this show. Sorry but my comments about Julie Yeh and Lin Cui still stand. I think their eldest sister is very good-looking too. As usual, good acting from all.

Though there is nothing very much to the story, I like it - simple and entertaining. Yeh Feng is really so beautiful and that Qiao Hong, OH, he is a killer! As for Lin Cui, she's really suited to the role. Another good afternoon matinee.

October 22, 2008 BoringFrankly, I find Lok Dai's acting quite stiff in this movie and the mediocre plot, boring. Maybe her acting is good only for period dramas. Don't find it interesting at all but if you have nothing else better to do in the afternoon, play this for your grandmother.

I think all teachers should watch this movie; I'm sure the reason why they chose teaching as a profession will become clearer. Also, Wang Yin (Lin Cui's father) is such a great actor and seems to fit in almost any role he is given. I have watched this movie numerous times and every time, I cry like mad!

The Greatest Wedding On Earth
October 14, 2008 Same good old daysThis sequel is as entertaining as THE GREATEST CIVIL WAR and of course, the main attraction is Leung Sing Po. He is really so funny and I love the way he spoke his Cantonese, the old fashion way. Must have.

Air Hostess
October 10, 2008 Good old tourist attractionsI bought this movie because it featured some of the tourist attractions in Singapore, Hongkong, Taipei and Bangkok that had long disappeared. Grace Chang, of course, was an all-rounder which made this movie so interesting to watch. And Yeh Feng, she's so tall and slim and pretty and ... everything!
Collector's item, if you ask me.

October 10, 2008 Golden MelodiesThis movie reminds me of the golden era of Taiwanese songs; every one of them was a hit. The story is about Zhen Chen, with the consent of her mother, sings at the cabaret to pay off her mentally-illed father's bills despite her boyfriend's objection. Also explored problems faced by Zhen Chen's singer-colleagues. Of course, the highlights are definitely the wonderful songs and Zhen Chen - OH! she really has the sweetest looks. Highly recommeded to all oldies like me who are fans of evergreen songs.

Eversince watching Zhuo Yi Feng's outstanding performance on HAPPY SUNDAY, I know that someday, someone will offer him a chance to record his very own album; am glad that this has finally come true. The tracks are definitely tailor-made to his powerful vocal and he delivers well. Keep up the good job! A must-buy for all HAPPY SUNDAY fans.

June 3, 2008 Fantastic showI have never liked Jay Chou because can never understand what he is singing (so now have to refer to the lyrics booklet, no issue at all). Love him like mad after watching this concert. Wish I was there personally because the show was just great ... and the fireworks!!!! And his duet with Fei Yu Chin was so good. Unfortunately, missed him while he performed in Singapore. Good buy for sure.

May 8, 2007 Winter Scene/Summer HeartsI watched this drama because of Lee Wan and Park Shin Hye. I think they have superb chemistry and both can act (and cry) very well. Story is very heartbreaking but what to do, life is such ... Snow scenes are the greatest.
