Yuna is back with a new album, and she tries various kinds of music and style. And she managed to pull it off! Her voice is strong and just amazing. This is probably her best album so far. The song 今でも 会いたいよ･･･ is my fave song. (track 2) She was featured on the one with Spontania called 今でもずっと. Now is the other way around and Yuna is singing the major parts. Same music but different lyrics. I really like this version, its more up-tempo! Also her first English song is on this one. where she call herself Christine (her English name). It's an english version of 恋はgroovy x2 and in English it's simpy called Groovy x2. It's a must have album for 2009!! |

Yuna Ito is one of the best singers I know! Now her style has really changed and I'm glad that she's not only doing ballads but also upbeat songs. Most of all I like 'groovy×2', her first song complete in English! It fits her very good and I hope she'll bring out a complete English album, that would be so great! I totally recommend this album, Yuna shows her great vocal skills here! Her voice is so powerful and touching! G o Y u n a! |

Yuna tries the latin/dance style

REIRA starring YUNA ITO ? The powerful ballads ? It's only the past. With such songs like ''Koi wa groovyx2'', ''BAILA BAILA'', ''Brand New World'', ''BREEEEEZIN!!!!!!!'' and ''LOVE MACHINE GUN'', Yuna shows us the direction she is taking. There is still ''trust you'' which is a ballad that has nothing to envy to ''ENDLESS STORY'', ''Precious'' or ''Truth'', there is ''miss you'', there is ''No one else'' (another beautiful ballad) but stop, all the album is full of dance, even the R&B of ''WISH'' is left out. And she is experimenting new sounds too, ''love you'' and ''Body'' are very interesting songs. To me this is a solid album, ''WISH'' was a little better but ''DREAM'' is not so much worse. 9/10 |
