A comic delight

"Dreams Come True" is a laugh-out-loud funny screwball comedy, fully the equal of the classic Hollywood comedies of the 1930s. The simple story, based on a case of mistaken identity, is beautifully constructed. The direction is artful, the writing is hilarious, and the timing of the stars is quick and sharp. Kitty Ding Hao is a revelation in this film. She throws herself into this role with wild abandon and delivers one of the greatest comic performances I've seen. This is wonderful stuff, fun for the entire family. Very, very highly recommended for everyone by your humble servant. |
