Avex Trax's "project" may just be their most original and simple they've ever done. The lead singer's voice is natural and refreshing though it is a far way from "great" standards. She still needs alot of work! However, I really like her! She's far from the Avex Trax rule "get plastic surgery to look perfect" that they usually force on every Asian girl who joins their label. Her looks are actually realistic and, for the first time with a Japanese artist, I feel she actually LOOKS it. She's very pretty in a simple and refreshing way...but her voice still needs alot of work. The melodies are also pretty plain, so there's always room for MUCH improvement there. =) don't worry! I have faith in them. At their current state, I don't even want to hear any comparisons to Every Little Thing, Do As Infinity, or day after tomorrow because that is degrading to those musical masterpiece groups! They are the underdogs and are starting pretty low, but hopefully...their full potential will be reached as they commence further in their career! (n_n) I think there is a possibility of that. |
