haven't seen this for > 20yrs

Both my grandma and I watched this series proabably more than 20 years ago and thought it was really fantastic, great story, acting suspense and action. We would love to watch it again but cant seem to get a copy (outside USA we are in Australia). Have checked all the other websites but this series seem to be all out of print. If anyone knows where i can get a copy love to hear from you. |

HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ATV'S 80'S OLDIES DRAMA TV S

I highly recommend buying and watching this ATV's 1980's drama tv series since I have purchased it and enjoyed watching it. This is MUCH MUCH BETTER THAN TODAY'S RECENT DRAMA TV SERIES. This oldies ATV drama tv series have received good viewers' ratings during its initial first broadcast in Hong Kong which its why they tried to do sequel on it. But the sequel its not as good as this pre-sequel. To those interested viewers/consumers, this 'DYNASTY I' is also released in dual audio languages in one complete boxset under the "Mainland China" tv series section at a less lower price. |

One of ATV's best drama tv series

I would recommend this ATV drama tv series to people since its overall good even much BETTER than today's TVB & ATV drama series. The themesong is great in terms of music & singing. The storyline & appropriate casts & acting is overall good. I wished more of HONG KONG ATV DRAMA TV SERIES are RELEASED IN ORIGINAL CANTONESE AUDIO OR DUAL AUDIO OF CANTONESE & dubbed-mandarin audio on VCDs boxsets of productions of the 1980's & 1990's--the good oldies atv drama tv series. |

old ATV drama series but very good

It is about the third/four emperor power struggle of the Ching Dynasty. Very good and complex storyline if you don't mind the drama were filmed back in the early 1980s. |
