Celebrating their 47th anniversary, MBC presents East of Eden, a star-studded blockbuster epic marking the return to television of hallyu superstar Song Seung Heon. Song is joined by a stunning lineup of cast members, including Lee Da Hae (My Girl), Lee Yeon Hee (One Fine Day), Han Ji Hye (Sweet 18), and Yeon Jung Hoon, who incidentally took over the role originally intended for Song in the 2006 romantic drama Sad Love Story.

A period epic that spans the years 1960 to 2000, East of Eden tells a saga of the bitter rivalry between two men who are eternally bound by fate. Equally as impressive as the drama's cast is the soundtrack, which features a slew of big names from the music industry, including SG Wannabe, See Ya, Davichi, M to M, F.T Island, plus up-and-coming pop/R&B group Black Pearl and special project group Color Pink. The album contains various theme songs written specifically for each of the five main characters.

This edition comes with a DVD containing two music videos.
