휘성, 거미, SG 워너비의 프로듀서 김도훈과 엠보트가 발굴한 한국 R&B의 샛별!
고등학생 신분으로 취미 생활로서 음악을 접하게 되었고, 뉴욕대학교에 실기 시험용으로 작곡한 곡이 밖으로 알려지면서, 현 최고의 작곡가 김도훈에게 발탁되었다.
첫 스승이자 선배 김도훈의 프로듀서를 받으며 1집 앨범 ＂just my way" 가 탄생하게 되었고, 최고의 뮤지션이 모여 있는 '엠보트'가 에디의 가능성을 알아보고, 기획, 제작에도 적극적으로 참여하게 되면서 앨범이 완성되기도 전 많은 뮤지션들과 팬들의 기대를 모으게 되었다.
Eddie(에디) 의 1집은 총 수록된 12곡 중 8곡을 Eddie(에디) 가 직접 작곡하였다. Eddie(에디) 의 1집은 신세대 R&B 아티스트 Eddie(에디) 의 색깔이 강하다. 그동안 거의 시도된 적이 없었던 R&B N대-Soul풍의 음악이나, 감미로운 Eddie(에디)의 음색과 맞아 떨어지는 R&B Ballad 등이 아름답게 어우러져 있다. Featuring도 휘성, Lyn, 마스터 우, 빅마마, 거미, Soulstar, 그리고 비바소울 등 실력있는 뮤지션들이 대거 참여 하였다.
Eddie(에디) 는 2005년 9월 뉴욕대학교 (NYU) 의 Clive David Department of Recorded Music에 입학한다. Clive David 는 미국의 전설적인 음악제작자 겸 프로듀서로 3년 전에 이 Department를 창설했다. 이 Department 는 극소수의 정원으로 훌륭한 음악가 및 음반 제작과 비즈니스를 총괄하여 가르치는 세계적인 프로그램이다. Clive David Program에 당당히 합격한 Eddie(에디)는 음악에 대한 순수한 정열으로 새로운 스타뮤지션의 탄생을 예견해본다

| If you've read my other reviews, then you probably know that I can fall in love with an artist and buy their CD because of just one song. xD. In Eddie's album, that song was Love song (featuring Soulstar). [Track 8] It's a ballad, of course. And it's so pretty. Along with that song, other ballads include tracks 3 (Geu Ddaen Wae Mohl Lah Ssuht Neun Jee), 4 (Joh Eun Naem Sae Doh..), and 5 (Do U wanna fall in Love). Going through the rest of the album... Track 1 is... =| It's an intro. It's okay. Track 2, Groovin', with Masta Wu, is a nice R&B-ish song, along with tracks 5, Wae Geu Reh, which features Wheesung, and 6 (Hah Roo), with Viva D'low. I love Kiss Hae Joo Geht Nee with Lyn. It's a cute poppy song <3~ Letter (track 10) and Paradise (track 12) are nice, mellow songs. Track 11, Music, is in English. Eddie's English is good, but some of the lyrics are still fobby;. But yeah. It's not a bad song, but some parts can get a little =|;;. Overall. Yeah O_O It's a good album. <33. |

great new artist
| I really enjoyed this album! The album ranges from an rnb hip-hop sound, to ballad, and maybe even abit of a pop sound in some of the songs! Eddie is really dynamic, being able to rap and also sing very well! Check this album out! It also features other great korean artists!! |

Must GET!!!!!!!!!!!
| I LOVE THIS ALBUM!!!!!! It a must get. His voice can adapt into many type of music. They doesn't sound the same. Each song show his strenght of singing. It a really good ablum for a newcomer like him. Music is a great song for oversea fans to listen to because he sing in english mix with korean but i think mostly is in english. It's a great song for us who doesn't understand korean to be alble to judge how good of his singing is. |

ok..ok... The type of style that Eddie uses in his songs are across of Wheesung and Se7en. A very Good Mixer that I most likely prefere. Track 3 " Don't know why." Track 2 " Groovin ft.Master Wu," and track 5. Are the best song out of this album. It's soooo remarkable to be able to listen to his songs with a twist of other characteristic to it and also it has a good texture of melodies. so I recommend you to give this album a chance and support him, by buying his CD. Soooo 3 Cheers 4 E-D-D-I-E ^___________! |

Eddie is what Korean music needs

Eddie explodes onto the Korean music scene as a bilingual artist. Yes, he can speak English fluently unlike the vast majority of idiots singing in Korea today. The kid can really sing. Really. As in, without the filters and processing that is needed to make most Korean singers sound half-decent. Solid production, massively soulful vocals and total motivation drive this debut album into places most Korean artists can't even HOPE to get to by their fifth release. The only weak point of "Just My Way" is that it features Masta Wu...who continues to disgust as always. BUY THIS ALBUM!!! SUPPORT REAL MUSIC. |
