Edmond Leung saw a surge in popularity in 2006 and 2007 from hosting the immensely popular TV program Beautiful Cooking. He has been fairly quiet in the music scene since the show's end, however, and his last album, The Story of June, was released over a year ago. Edmond's Collection 2007 is the Canto-pop ballad singer's newest album, and it comes as a compilation of new and old songs.

The three-disc Edmond's Collection 2007 comes with five new tracks and a choice selection of his hits from the last few years. His new songs include first plug "Think Too Much of Self" (CD 1 - Track 1), which is composed by Tse Kit with lyrics by Lee Chun Yat, and "Destined" from the usual suspects - composer Harry Ng, lyricist Wyman Wong, and producer Mark Lui. Edmond also offers "That Time" (CD 1 - Track 5), a Mandarin version of "Seven Friends". The compilation includes 25 best of songs like "Beatles Four" (CD 1 - Track 9), the Miriam Yeung duet "Roll" (CD 1 - Track 7), "Eight Kilometer Road" (CD 1 - Track 11), "Anchorwoman" (CD 2- Track 5), and of course "Seven Friends" (CD 2 - Track 2).

The DVD comes with two new music videos and 15 karaoke MV tracks, including Hey June, "Seven Friends", and 501.
