Famous filmmaker Wong Jing turns from making hilarious movies to directing TV series co-produced by Mainland China and Hong Kong. After the popular The Handsome Siblings (starring Nicolas Tse and Dicky Cheung) comes his next project Eight Heroes, featuring an even more impressive cast! Leading the star-studded cast is Anthony Wong Chau Sang, who plays a Robin Hood-like hero trying to uncover a huge sum of money intended for overthrowing the corrupted Prime Minister.
Anthony Wong leads a team of eight heroes and heroines, each played by a popular actor from Hong Kong or Mainland China. Asian heartthrob Edison Chen makes his TV debut in Eight Heroes after glowing in so many movies. Mainland handsome actor Lu Yi (Seven Swords) plays a skilled killer who devotes himself to upholding justice. New comedy actor Lam Chi Chung from Kung Fu Hustle also plays a part. Gorgeous actresses Fan Bingbing, Li Bingbing, Li Xiaolu will impress viewers with their pretty faces. The TV drama also offers spectacular fighting scenes, with Ching Siu Tung as the action choreographer. The team of Eight Heroes will uncover one mystery after another, and in the course there will be as many scenes of splendid fights as hilarious moments to keep the audience entertained!
