They really captivate you. But if you don't like sad love stories, this might not be that interesting to you. As you know, this is the same writer of "Autumn's tale" and "Winter Sonata" and "All about Eve". The plot and storyline are very good. Also, the main characters are new comers when this TV series came out but they did great jobs. And as you can see, nowdays, they are really good actors/actress (Jo hyun Jae, Soo Aeh, Ji Jin Hee). When you select the DVD set (the US version vs Korean version) Korean version doesn't have English subtitles but has everything else plus OST. Everything else means deleted scenes, NG scenes, interviews and music video. US version has English subtitles but I think that's about it. Well, I ordered Korean version so I will never know how to US version is like.... Anyhow, I have been dreaming to get this DVD set and I finally ordered! I am so happy!!!

This series was aired in Korea on Sunday 9am for 26 weeks (26 episodes). Who would get up early in the morning on Sunday to watch this? I did. I fell in love with this series gradually though.
When I first watched (since it was 8th or 9th episode and I didn't know what was going on) I thought it was interesting. But it turns out it was not only interesting but also has a such a great sweet love story. This story is based on two people (Garan and Namjun) who had their first love with different people for almost twenty years, but they were not with them any longer. Their first love was actually elementary sweet hearts. That's why they couldn't forget their first love.(Garan and Namjun are 29 years old) Garan's first love became a Catholic priest. Namjun's first love dumped him because she thought he was too much for her. (Namjun is almost a genius. He was the youngest person who passed the law exam in Korea and he was in the fast track of becoming a great lawyer) First few episodes shows why they don't have their first love anymore and why Garan and Namjun became such enemies. Garan stayed in her hometown and became a elementary school teacher. Nam Jun was in Seoul working hard but after separation from his first love, he got sick and decided to move back to hometown to heal (and also looking for an opportunity to get back with his first love). Han GaRan and Ahn NamJun.... Their consistent fighting when they were in the elementary school were so cute. But then, their fighting in their high school also made me laugh hard. There are so many fun stories in this series. It makes me realize how love supposed to feel like. I really love this series and I recommend everyone to watch this. I promise "No Regret".
