The abandonment of the Ringo complex
| This is really Tokyo Jihen's big debut. If you ever wondered what TJ versions of SR's past albums would sound like, this is the dvd to get. Nothing fancy in the stage show; just the 5 of them playing intensely in kimono. There's also some backstage clips, you get to see the band smoking and Shena trying to calm her stage fright before they hit the stage. Her mole flies away as she says farewell to her PV costume collection signifying the end of her solo career. I'm pretty sure she really did surgically remove her mole, for health reasons but its also good fodder to add to her image. A tease of a few seconds of the rock version of Ringo no Uta made me subtract a star, but this is an excellent concert. No "Honnou" however, too bad. |
