August 30, 2009 It will make you smileFinally Ueto Aya is back! And her new album is superb!
The first thing i could clearly notice from Aya's new album is that her vocals have greatly improved, (not that they needed improving, i loved her vocals) but Aya does now have a better vocal range and her voice sounds much clearer.
Second thing i noticed is how her English pronunciation has greatly improved, she doesn't sing that much in English on the album but it's enough to hear how good it is, e.g she sings 'Lets Go' as opposed to 'rettsu go'.
The songs on the album are all fab too!
The first song 'Smile For...' may not be the most stand out song but it's catchy and uplifting, a very typical pop song but there's nothing wrong with that. I'd rate it 5/5, i've listened to it loads and i'm still not bored with it!
Second song 'Tsukamaete' is definetaly one of Aya's greatest songs she's ever released and i love as much as any of my old favourite Aya songs such as Pureness or Message. It's a very fast catchy song with a 'pop/rock' feel and i rate it 5/5.
Third song 'Kokoro pokapoka' is a slower song, relaxing and catchy, i rate it 4/5.
Fourth song 'Kimi ga warau to sekai ga warau' is a very pretty song, catchy and relaxing, i rate it 5/5.
Fifth song 'Honey' is another catchy fast song and i rate it 5/5.
Sixth song 'Watashi no taiyou' is another pop style song, not the most exciting but still vey nice and i rate it 4/5.
Seventh song 'Migimune no fairy' is a nice fairly fast catchy song. I rate it 4/5.
Eighth song 'SMILE' is another nice slow relaxing song, i rate it 4/5.
The last song 'Bokura no mirai E' is a beautiful emotional song. I rate it 5/5.
With First Press Limited Edition the album comes with a DVD with the PVs for Namida no Niji and Way to heaven, they are great PVs and so are a brilliant bonus. In the 'Way to heaven' PV you can see Aya dance!
The First Press Limited Edition CD comes in a nice cardboard sleeve case and there's a photobook with it with some uplifting pretty pics of Aya that will also make you smile. So i'd recommend getting the First Press Limited Edition while you still can.
Overall this is definetaly a must have for any Aya fan or for anyone who needs cheering up because the album is guaranteed to have you smiling!Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

The songs have such a haunting feel to them, they have a classical powerful orchestral style but are fast and catchy and it works perfectly together, and Kanon Wakeshima's voice goes perfectly too, it's the best combination. The DVD is a nice bonus, the Kaze PV is bright and colourful and there's a nice slideshow of pictures of Aya set to Okuru Kotoba. This single is definetaly worth buying. July 16, 2009 Fantastic debut albumI love this artist's style, her tibetan influences work really well in her songs and she has an incredible vocal range. She has a deep voice but it goes perfectly with her songs, and she can reach really high notes as well. Most of the songs i would rate a 5, a few songs I would rate a 4, the only two tracks i would only rate a 3 are Afuresouna Ai daite which to me is just an ok song and the remix of namida wo fuite because i found it a bit boring, though i'm never keen on remixes anyway. With this CD you get to see the different styles Aya has done during her music career. Her earlier singles like Pureness, Kizuna, Kanshou and Message have a more darker pop/rock feel to them and my favourite style of Aya, then there's her songs like Ai no tameni, Kaze, kaze wo ukete, and egao no mama de that have a more uplifting lighthearted pop feeling to them. Binetsu I like for it's hot spicy style and okuru kotoba is a nice relaxing ballad. With 18 tracks you get a lot for your money and a variety of styles so i highly recommend this album. The main track 'Namida no niji' is beautiful and sung with so much emotion and i rate it 5 stars easily. It's nice to see Aya trying a new emotional style and it really suits her, the only other song i can think of where Aya uses the same emotional style is Fermata on the License album, so if you liked the song Fermata you're bond to like this song. The 'Save me ' track is great too and I would rate 4 stars, it's more like her older songs, very 'pop' style. I didn't think the remix of 'way to heaven' was anything exciting but 'Namida no niji' and 'save me' make up for it and the single had enough songs to be sold without it anyway so I didn't feel like i was missing out on a song. My favourite track is Mou kaeranai, it's a bit slower than her usual stuff but a nice emotional song, but don't worry it's only about four songs on the album that are at a slower pace, the rest have a fast catchy beat and Aya's strong vocals go perfect with them. Wasn't so keen on the string version of A constellation, much prefer the original but it was nice to hear a different version. Overall i would recommend this album. Did you find this review helpful? April 25, 2009 Relaxing songsI was fairly impressed with these CDs since there not that expensive and you get many songs, so a lot for your money, though i felt there wasn't many songs that stood out particuarly, there nearly all ballads and only a few are very exciting. Still, i don't regret buying this product and the songs are very relaxing to listen to and the singers have very nice voices.
There isn't much info on this product so i thought i add some more. The product is made up of 4 already released CDs, there's Chang An's Peaceful, Alan's Sheng Sheng Zui Ru Lan (Second version), Zheng Yang's The love of moon and water and Ni Ya Feng's The Cherry Sound. I know the songs in Alan's album are covers of other artists songs but i don't know about the other albums. A bonus in Alan's album is getting to hear her sing in english in one of the songs.

March 27, 2009 Very niceWhen i came across this mini album, i was suprised at the price, i had heard a couple of songs by Suh Young Eun but wasn't an enormous fan of her, i more brought the album just as a nice little extra with my other orders to have something different and just for the fun of seeing if i would like it.
Now that i've listened to it i'm even more suprised the price is so low, the album is great, the first two songs are nice, srong, emotionally ballads, i especially love the third song, it's very powerful and has a catchy chorus and the last two songs are nice and uplifting.
