  • We Married As A Job! (Blu-ray Box) (Japan Version) Blu-ray Region A Hoshino Gen | Aragaki Yui | Ishida Yuriko | Umino Tsunami
Aragaki Yui and singer Hoshino Gen form an unexpected pairing in the popular TBS romantic comedy series We Married as a Job! Based on the manga Nigeru wa Haji da ga Yaku ni Tatsu by Umino Tsunami, the series turned into an audience favorite with its comedic tone, endearingly awkward romance and fresh premise of marriage as employment. The drama even set off a dance trend with its end credit dancing sequence.

Moriyama Mikuri (Aragaki Yui) is a clever, clear-headed and hardworking young woman with a graduate degree – all of which means that she constantly gets passed over for lesser jobs. Unemployed yet again after losing a contract position, Mikuri takes up a part-time housekeeping job for perennially single, exceedingly precise IT worker Tsuzaki Hiramasa (Hoshino Gen), and the two find that they're very compatible as employer and employee. In need of a full-time job and a place to live, Mikuri impulsively proposes that Hiramasa employ her as a wife, and thus begins their unique contract marriage!
