    An undercover detective gets into the battlefield of crime, corruption and power in The Prison. Screened at the 2017 Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival and the Far East Film Festival, the crime action thriller marks the directorial debut of May 18 screenwriter Na Hyun. Kim Rae Won (Gangnam Blues) stars as a passionate detective who joins the crime syndicate of a powerful crook played by Han Suk Kyu (The Royal Tailor). The crime ring also includes Jung Woong In's (Time Renegades) corrupt warden and the crime leader's sidekick played by Jo Jae Yoon (Inside Men). Lee Kyung Young (Inside Men), Shin Sung Rok (The King's Face) and Kim Sung Kyun (Phantom Detective) also co-star in The Prison.

    Nicknamed the "Grim Reaper," Song Yoo Gun (Kim Rae Won) was once a cop known for his brutality and perfect arrest record. After getting involved in a hit-and-run accident, he is sent to prison where he gets beaten by guards and inmates. He discovers that the prison is controlled by Jung Ik Ho (Han Suk Kyu), the leader of a secret criminal organization that also includes the prison warden (Jung Woong In). Led by Ik Ho, prisoners escape from jail every night and commit crimes without a trace. Yoo Gun soon becomes a member of the crime group and starts investigating the secrets behind the syndicate.

To compensate for what he did, he tries to be a good brother to Jin Ho (Hoya) after his release from jail. However, Jin Ho pushes him away. Knowing that his brother has been dreaming of becoming a singer, Jin Sang helps him pass his auditions. When Jin Ho's dream is about to come true, his agency suddenly becomes embroiled in financial fraud.

    Former 2NE1 member Sandara Park makes her Korean movie debut in One Step, which is inspired by the 2013 American musical comedy Begin Again. The singer-actress plays the lead role of an amnesiac girl who embarks on a healing journey with the help of Han Jae Suk (The Quiz Show Scandal), rising indie actor Cho Dong In (The Stone) and Hong Ah Reum (Makgeolli Girls). Beautiful director Juhn Jai Hong is at the helm of the crowdfunded musical romance written by popular webtoon author Hong Seung Pyo, better known as MiTi.

    Convenience store part-timer Si Hyun loses her memory after a car accident. After being discharged from the hospital, she moves to her friend Ji Won's (Hong Ah Reum) home. Every night, Si Hyun hums a strange melody in her sleep and the music interests Ji Won's brother Woo Hyuk (Han Jae Suk), a once famous songwriter. Woo Hyuk turns the melody into a score hoping that it can recall her past memories. Rock guitarist Jee Il (Cho Dong In) comes across the score and helps complete the song with Woo Hyuk.
