Two young girls born on the same day find their lives intertwining in startling ways in Autumn in My Heart, the popular KBS drama starring Song Seung Heon and Song Hye Kyo! Also known by the title Autumn Fairy Tale, this 2001 melodrama is the first installment of the four part Endless Love drama series and focuses on the strange twist of fate that befalls two girls named Yoon Eun Suh and Choi Shin Ae. While both girls live in the same town and attend the same school, they lead very different lives. While Eun Suh (played as a teenager by Moon Geun Young) leads a happy, comfortable life as the daughter of a rich industrialist, Shin Ae (Han Chae Yeong) lives a life of near abject poverty. However, the tables turn in a big way when Eun Suh gets into a car accident. When the doctors test Eun Suh's blood, her parents are shocked to learn that their daughter's blood type differs from theirs! It turns out that, for the last fourteen years, they have been raising someone else's biological child - Eun Suh and Shin Ae were switched at birth!

After a few twists and turns, the two girls are "returned" to their rightful families, as Eun Suh lives with the poverty-stricken Chois. Despite the difficulties of her situation, Eun Suh finds a way to endure, in large part due to her tough, but upbeat personality. Meanwhile, the Yoon family moves to the United States. Some years later, Eun Suh's former "brother" Jun Suh (now played by Song Seung Heon) returns to Korea as a successful artist. After meeting up with Han Tae Seok (Won Bin), the two old friends cross paths with Eun Suh (now played by Song Hye Kyo). Unaware of the brother-sister mix-up, Tae Seok becomes smitten with the beautiful Eun Suh, but Jun Suh, who has always cared deeply for his "sister," finds himself falling in love with her, too. How will this love triangle be resolved? Find out in this bittersweet, but wildly popular romance, Autumn In My Heart!

At first started out awesome but till it get to the middle things startin to gettin lame the whole half brother n sister relationship n kept goina back n forth n myself really dun enjoy the realtionship between the 'half' brother n sisterin the movie at all. It would be perfect if song hae kyo end up with won bin becuzz in the movie, won bin did so many things for her but she never realli care for his love n ran away with her 'half' bro left soo many ppl behind until 1 day wen a life almost lost then they decided to sperate but for a while things went back to where it was again. Eventhough she startin to gettin a bit closer to won bin but it was more of a freindship kinda way there are sooo much chemistry between song hae kyo n won bin but n this series but i guess the writer never realli notice it. The movie ended very sad it seems very undone cuzz ofcourse myself wanna c more won bin hehehe..... but well i guess thats how movies alwayz goes things alwayz ended up bad. Now there are so many moviez that r isolated to this movie but this will alwayz b the ORIGINAL one

it is excelent tv series, sorry, because i do not speak english, dejenme contarles que,, no hay una trama mejor que ésta,, es increíble de cómo la historia en sí está compuesto o integrado por tan sólo 10 actores si no me equivoco, me parece una drama muy bien filmado especialmeste por los paisejes y cada toma de esta serie,, cada toma pareciera un cuadro o una pintura, es muy artístico, también me impresionó las actuaciones de los niños, es una historia que transmite, cree y está basado en la esperanza, magia, destino,amor sincero, y único... una fans de endless love de venezuela,,,, nohelia fong

What an awesome series!!! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
No wonder it was ranked #2 drama in Korean in 2000. This series made us glue to the TV, waiting to see what will happen next, what will they say to each other next. The brother and his best friend are very handsome and the girl is so beautiful that you can’t help but to admire her beauty. The good news is they appeared in most of the scenes. The plot is very good and it evolves around forbidden love and parental love. The selflessness of the girl as a daughter touched my heart. Also the one-way love of the brother’s best friend to the girl is almost unreal, he would do anything and everything for her, including giving her up to her lover. The director did a superb job; the plots and dialogue were rolling right along with many intriguing story lines and not too many boring/long scenes. Endless Love is definitely a classic movie, worth watching over and over. The sequel to this by the same director, Winter Sonata, is not in the same level as this.

wow...this movie i have to give it two thumbs up!!!i cried out the whole movie!!!and im still crying!it is so sad, and touching!!!!mann....i just love the movie so much that i cant explain it at all!!!!!

this movie makes me crazy for a few days....I really don't believe to be like this. It has a simple idea about love that grew up in one roof but very excellent when the star Song Hye Kyo acts for touching the audiences' heart include me. Yes...it does....
