１９８０年代後半の南アフリカ。アパルトヘイト反対派のテロや国際社会の経済制裁により、国は破たんの危機に直面していた。 絶えず緊張関係にあった政府とＡＮＣ（アフリカ民族会議）。 南ア最大の金鉱山を経営する英国企業から派遣された若手社員マイケル・ヤングは、両者の会談を実現させるためにある人物へコンタクトを図る。 大学教授であるエスタライゼに、両者を取り持つ重要な役を依頼したのだ。 命の危険を伴うその役割を引き受けるべきか思い悩んだ末、エスタライゼ享受は国民のために承諾する。 しかし彼らの行動を監視していた大統領側近バーナードから脅迫を受け、政府側のスパイとして活動することに。 そしてヤングもまた命を狙われていた…。そしてついに会談が実現するが、ＡＮＣによる新たな爆破テロが発生するー！ 予告編
