Simply the best
Simply the best
| First of all, I have no idea how someone can NOT appreciate the mix of poetry, soul, and passion these three have put into this CD. I really can't comprehend that. I always find myself coming back time and time again to listen to Mithra's clever and complex lyrics, Tablo's mix of pain and straight talk, and DJ Tukutz's gut-wrenching mixes. I was first attracted to "Love, Love, Love" as it was the first song that I'd overheard on a friends mp3 player but after buying this album "Love, Love, Love" actually paled in comparison to Soul - Tablo and Mithra's challenge, White Knight - a glimpse into Tablo's childhood, Scapegoat - their stand on religion, and other gems. If you're looking for something sugary, pop-ish, and sweet then this CD won't be for you. If you're looking for something raw, real, and true then you're at the right place. |

great album...
great album...
| This album is worth every penny spent on it. I love Epik High's music. All their albums are great but this one stands out for daring to speak out the truth in a society that sugar-coats everything & ignores real issues. It's REAL, simply put. The lyrics are some of the best in a hip-hop album. Tablo's excellent verbal tableau always blows me away. |

Same beat, same tune, same ol.
Same beat, same tune, same ol.
| I trusted the reviews and got the CD but was disappointed at the mundane tunes/melody offered on the CD. It seems like Korean Rap music sound the same these days, with rare innovative tunes. |

I just got mine in the mail. I've been hearing the songs on this album for a while and I wanted it for myself. This has to be Epik High's greatest album yet! I mean, all the other albums were great, but this one just blew me away. The music is excellent. Just when you're satisfied with just hearing the first disc, you are in heaven when you see that there's more (a second disc.) I'd have to say that out of the two discs, The Heart has catchier turns. The Brain has more to due with lyrical meaning which balances the two discs. Tablo is such an excellent lyricist, that no one I've heard can compare. If you love Epik High, this album is a must. It's worth more than 15 dollars, so just go and get it! This album, you will 'Love Love Love'! |

Double disc of bliss!! ^0^ Epik High somehow makes hip-hop fun to listen to. I mean...forget the whole 'bling bling' business and half-naked women drapped over rappers in their MVs. Epik is about lyrics. Epik is about bringing to light, issues in society that people prefer to sweep under the rug or are simply ignorant about. and the best thing is, they do it in a way that is easy to digest. So with that in mind, Epik continues to explore serious issues in Remapp, as they've done in their previous albums, and like their past work, they also present to the fans, fun and light-hearted sounding tracks that are, well - addictive. ^^ A much darker and moodier album than the previous 3....but that's what makes it so attractive and interesting. |

I first became a fan of Epik High after hearing them on Rain's song 'My Groove' then buying their previous album, 'Swan Songs'. The latter album absolutely amazed me - I knew that this band were the best group I had heard in such a long time. Now, after being thoroughly excited with this new album, I must say that this is the best album of 2007 for me. What I love about Epik High, and this album, is that EVERY single track has been a result of hard-work which for me, is the sign of great musicianship. Even though on some tracks and with some lyrics you can tell they have been slightly influenced by American hiphop, I don't think you can exactly say they are "nothing new". Every track on this album is nothing like American hiphop. For a start it actually means something. Whereas the majority of US rap is about guns, violence, girls/men, and slamming your diamonds in front of your "enemies". This is another reason why I love Epik High - they actually write decent stuff and put points across about real issues. Keep up the great work Epik High! <3 |

Wonderful Flow

This cd is wonderful! Even I dont understand what they say, I would still tell people to buy this album. It will make you want to listen to the end of the entire Album and i recommend that you do just that. I must admit that i also am addicted to the song fan, but there are many other songs on the cd that will leave you hooked (i would name them, but i dont know what they are called XD) |
