April 27, 2006 sarcasm is lazy humor. ..the blatant candidness of this review's title is my forever passionate tribute for those of you (internet trolls) who's got nothing better to do than to come up with sarcastic comments to leave on these product review and internet blog sites. Now that's over. ... on with the album.
For those of you who complain about Hyori's singing, i have a suggestions. .. Buy a opera compilation C.D. Let's face it, half of the people who bought this C.D bought it because it was Hyori's C.D not because she's such a great singer. So, if you really can't stand her singing then you've gotta ask yourselves . ... "Why did i buy her C.D in the first place?".
Secondly, as for the allegations with her song "Get ya" plagiarizing Britney's "Do Something". Two words for ya, it's not uncommon for artist to receive materials from the same source and then go about "twicking" the instrumental details. Sadly, in this case. Both artist/recording studio went with their best judgement. So, despite all the claims and negative feelings. Take it for what it is. Is this the first time that two items from different sources resemble each other? No. Will this be the last time this is going to happen? No, again. Unless Hyori has a kid and starts to drop her kid's head on the ground, these overly judgemental fanatical comments are of no constructive purpose. Since late March, Hyori's recording studio has cancelled all her schedule performances including the single "Get Ya". In retrospect, it's her way of saving her personal dignity and give a satisfactory to her "joe-public" fans. Because her true fans will stand by her regardless of the conditions and circumstances.
Over all, i believe a music album is good if it has made your "car" C.D carrying case, or these days. .. the iPod!. More copies of this C.D will be sold regardless of the criticism. I expect more good reviews in the future.Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -
February 20, 2006 some things gets better as they get old,
like certain bottled red wine, Jackie Chan's acting gets better as he ages. As far as I am concerned this is one of the movies (if not the only one) where he sincerely tried not to over emphasize on his MA display and instead focused more on his acting. I am not a big fan of Jackie but, I must say I was very satisfied with his performance and this co star . .. Kim Hee Seon. She is a dedicated actress, (though I've heard she's got a bit of prissy ness to her off screen) but never the less a beautiful girl. I loved the theme song, and wouldn't you know it. The set up of Emperor Chin's tomb is nearly historically correct. Keep up the good word Jackie, and the rest of the Hong Kong cinema industry. Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This)
