This POTW did draw my attention after I heard of 文根英 won a few significant TV prizes due to this series. So that raised my interest and bought the English sub-titled version.
文根英, heard of her name but never saw her in action surprised me with her mature skill in this drama series. Her subtle love with 丁香 sparks off with nice chemistry and i have to say, that drew my entire attention to these 2 ladies. I also heard that they won some best couple award in one of the major TV awards.
I also need to give 2 thumbs up for the soundtrack in this TV drama, they are so mellow and nice in certain love scenes which I also bought with the English version.
Highly recommended.

All the tracks are so nicely done and suit the story line. Highly recommended Track 2 and track 6, these 2 are my favourites, although all the others are absolutely great tracks. Wonder why Chinese music can't have this sort of high standard in music production. Go and get it to enjoy it. If possible get the DVD as well!

January 9, 2008 Excellent CD, must getI rarely bought any CDs by Twins (sorry Twins fans) but this one attracts me so much that i have to get it. I have to say Charlene's voice has matured so much and she did surprise me of her improved singing technique. She has put so much feeling in singing slow ballads e.g. the song 妹妹.
Gillian, however still shows slight weakness in her singing but she has also improved vastly since their last few CDs.
The track about mum sung by Charlene (妹妹) is of a very high standard, Chrlene has handled that one really well. For Gillian, I prefer her 季節限定 and 你看得見嗎 as she can give more emotions to it. I can now say Twins can sing. Well done to both of them!!

August 26, 2007 Excellent movie!!I only bought this because of Tony Leung and Yam Tat Wah and this movie proved to be excellent. Both main male characters delivered their great performances and charms. However i am really surprised and impressed with Tsui Chi San's wonderful acting. The story line is good and very tense towards the end. Maggie Siu is really funny too by swearing a lot! Overall an excellent film to watch. Worth a 10/10.

August 22, 2007 Wow!!Brilliant! Being a fan of Sammi and it's great to see (or hear) her in top form again. Shame that the concert DVD is not released yet but i hope this should not be too long of a wait. Really look forward to her stage performance.
Sammi's interpretation of Cheng Yung's "Traffic Light" is excellent and indeed sang with full emotion. I have to rate this CD 10/10.

Both Isabella and Rainie definitely had one of their best performances. Considering Isabella was only 18 posed to be a 26 year old and Rainie who is twenty something and rejuvenated to just 18. This may be difficult if both haven't got the necessary look. However, I found isabella's mandarin is slightly off putting. Never mind, her character is a girl from Japan anyway.
I found the special features (Taiwan version) is more fun to watch!!

AnitaYuen's acting is of absolute class and she has done an excellent job. The latter half of the story which based in Taiwan is very sad. Don't miss it.

September 5, 2006 Excellent talented singer
I noticed this new talented singer when she was in the 2005 talented singer contest in HK. She glared and sang so well and she made it to the last 3 but did not win the championship which was a shame. (i nearly threw my telly away at that point!) However the record company recognises her lovely voice and talent and i am glad to see her made her first debut album such a success. All the songs are very good and certainly tested her voice to the extreme. She has definitely got the range! The best has to go to "you me him", love this song so much and keep on playing the song everytime i have my hi-fi on. Brilliant and please give more chances to talented singers like Vincy.

I did give a bad rating to this CD earlier on as i thought i can't rip this CD onto my ipod. HOwver, this album gave me such an attraction, i decided to buy it. I totally surprised by the singing quality by all female stars who aren't professional singers at all. Amongst all the songs, i was so thrilled by Myolie's voice and her song which is the best out of the whole album. Chung Ka Yan's song is also one of my favourite as well. Bernice's songs, however, after all the good comments are not as good as i expected. Anyway, well done to all artists.

May 17, 2006 Another Copy protected CDI think the CD company takes the piracy issue too far that this copy protected concept only bars us from buying the CD. I just want to own this CD and to be put into my itunes and ipod for my own pleasure. What's wrong with that?

I kinda disappointed with Gillian's acting this time. Her tone just seems not blended in with the rest of the cast and the plot. She is too 21st century! I prefer her roles in her previous movies like 公主復仇記 and even 古宅心慌慌!!!I have to say the ending song sung by Zhang Qian of this movie is so touching and I hope this song will be released soon. Anyway still worth the watch.

How come her voice is so strong and powerful and yet touch the bottom of your heart. My favourite has to go to Track 1 "Invisible wings", absolute fabulous. Other songs are also done well. Highly recommended. I am now convinced to have the whole collection of Angela.

Don't get me wrong, I am a Joey fan and love her singing to bits. But, this album is only ok-ish. and the most annoying thing is I can't import the CD onto my itunes and hence can't transfer the songs to my ipod.

If you watched her "Hou Tian Mei Nu", that's her own voice in that series. I think this series still worth the watch although I agree that there are many plots and story line which did not seem to make sense. But like the last reviewer had said, the main character is Huang herself and well, so be it.

There are a few scenes which she made me giggles and laughed aloud. Of course Ambrose is really cool and gorgoeus and other supporting actors and actresses are also funny and pretty as well. The "big" girl who is Huang's friend is really funny. Overall i highly recommend this series.

May 25, 2005 It's addictiveAs i have seen so many good comments on this series, so i bought it last month. I could not drop it, it is one of the best series i have ever seen so far. all the main characters especially Cecilia Yip and Angie Chiu portraited themselves nicely and beautifully as the heavenly couple. very addictive, i must agree. this series can be watched time over time over time again.

June 20, 2002 It's great!I have been waited for many years for this series to be released on VCD and finally it has arrived. Brilliant, almost all the kung fu scenes were done by the actors/actresses and this proved they were so professional in their actings. As the previous reviewer has pointed out, some scenes were cut. Nevertheless, it was such long ago I don't even remember any of the classic scenes. I would like someone to enlighten me on that, please. Anyway, I think it is a worth watching series. I wish TVB would release another uncut version for me as a die hard TVB fan!
