Incredible album
|
For the longest time I've been hearing that Utada Hikaru is the definitive artist in Japan for R&B and somehow that didn't strike me as completly true before and especially after I heard this incredible album. From the 1st to final track nothing but true R&B with a flair can be found: from dance jams to slow ballads. Each track just seems to get better than the last even for those who have all of her hit singles included in this release. Strange enough, each time I listen to this CD, I never find myself skipping over a single track which is somewhat rare for a picky girl like me. As for Ms. Mao's voice, her soul is as smooth as butter and as lovely as singers come. Not only can she sing high, striking notes, but she manages to also voice her words low and beautiful without letting her tone become the least bit "lamby." Denda Mao's singing talents, gorgeous looks and groovy R&B beats combine to make this a truely unforgettable album. Pure ear candy. |
