YesAsia Editorial Description

Lee Byung Hun takes on a hot sister trio in Everybody Has Secrets!

Ever wondered what it would be like to date three beauties in a row? Top heartbreaker Lee Byung Hun gets the chance to fulfill his heart's desire in this appealing new blockbuster that captures viewers with a bold mixture of comedic and erotic flair.

Korea's super dandy Lee Byung Hun who has appeared in big screen hits like The Harmonium in My Memory and JSA is back this time starring next to Choi Ji Woo (Winter Song of Love, Stairway to Heaven) to bring you this charming remake of About Adam. Lee portrays Soo-hyon, a guy that attracts women like a magnet whose latest catch is Mi-young (Kim Hyo-jin). Originally preferring short passionate affairs, Mi-young does believe that she has found Mr. Right in her new hot flame. It's a shame that Mi-young's eldest sister Jin-young (Chu Sang-mi) who suffers from constant heartbreak is also drawn to Mi-young's love interest. As if all of this didn't add up to enough misunderstandings, the confusion reaches its climax when middle sister Son-young (Choi Ji Woo) enters the scene and decides to claim Soo-hyon for herself. Who will the attractive philanderer walk off with in the end – broadminded femme fatale Mi-young, passionate but love-forsaken Jin-young or well-read love amateur Son-young? Find out in this romantic new comedy import that offers you Korea's latest cinematic flavors.

The captivating romantic tale has not only been hailed as a true winner, but also turned into a box office triumph. It really comes as no surprise that Japan's movie industry was itching to get its fingers on the cinematic pearl to come up with a remake, which finally led to a record deal over $5.5 million.

I really enjoyed this movie... Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
I'm a new LBH fan, and so impressed by everything he does. In this movie, he plays a unsuspecting playboy with such charm and ease, that it's such a pleasure to watch him. He oozes self-confidence (I'm starting to think that's a LBH trait)and you just sit back and say, "wow". Of course, I also enjoyed CJW and the other performances.

Had reservations Customer Review Rated Bad 5 - 5 out of 10
I had reservations about this movie. Being a fan of Choi Ji Woo and seen her other movies. I was tempted to get this one too. This one I did not give away to the waitress at the Korean restaurant. It is on the rack along with the other Choi Ji Woo movies. It is rated Category III. There is no nudity in this movie. There is sex jokes and sex references and sex comments. Some audience members make not like this while watching the movie. This movie is not for them. For people who are open and don't find such things offensive will think it is funny. I don't regret getting this movie. It is not one of my favorites. I might watch it again in the future.

Horrible... Customer Review Rated Bad 0 - 0 out of 10
I agree with "halfie"'s comment below... are u kidding? I bought this out of curiousity since I like LBH & CJW and couldn't imagine them in this kind of role. Well they should stick to what they know - serious drama, neither actor is made for comedy nor should they ever try it again. The movie was condescendingly stupid... it was a waste of my time & money spent.

WoooHooo! Secrets Everywhere. Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
Everybody Has Secrets is a good movie and certain scenes will make you go WoooHooo! it is a movie about three sisters and each of them have a secret affair with the same man.

It is not a porn movie. It does not have nudity. With each person he exchanges sexual conversation but it is stuff most lovers would talk about.

There is one review that says how people do not suffer consequences for their bad and sinful behaviors. This is one way of looking and interpreting the movie. But one can also look at it in another way and say --- the message is for people to appreciate what they already have and not chase after something that only looks good on the outside but really is bad on the inside.

LBH is like a gigolo/player in this movie and he only looks like he cares about the other person but in actuality he is hurting them by having affairs behind each of their backs. He looks good on the outside, but he is bad on the inside.

MiYoung didn't appreciate her boyfriend and thought he was weak and not man enough. So she breaks up with him. He is like begging her not to break up with her. The more he begs, the more annoyed she gets and drops him like a hot potato. She meets LBH and have a romantic relationship and then made love. As the relationship progresses, she is not too sure about marrying him. And she has an affair with her ex-boyfriend behind his back. This makes her even more unsure to marry LBH.

JinYoung feels unhappy in her marriage because her husband won't have sex with her. She wants to be made love to in a passionate way. When LBH compliments her and he ask her 'Do you wanna kiss me?' She cannot take it anymore and goes for it. Not just a kiss. She jumped his bones.

SonYoung is a bookworm who is looking for a romance like in the old novels and poems she reads. The only thing she knows about love is from the books. She sneaks into her hormone driven younger brother's room and takes his porn movies and watches them for love making tips. She knows that her sister MiYoung is going to marry LBH, but she doesn't care. She cannot hold it in and rips his clothes off and makes love to him all night.

I won't tell the ending because then it will spoil it for those who have not watched this movie. But the message and point of this movie is -- appreciate what you already have, don't go desiring and chasing after something that only looks good on the outside but is really bad on the inside.

most excellent Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
most excellent movie. in the end when you see the credits it say it is adapted from (about adam...the american movie).

i like Choi Ji Woo. she play Son-young. she likes to read and study. she is always go to the library at school. she is 27 years old and have no boyfriend and never love before. she meets a professor and the professor like her. but she got attracted by Lee Byung Hun (Soo-hyon). she keep thinking about him and forget about the professor.

the love scene of Choi Ji Woo and Lee Byung Hun is okay. it was not that hot like everyone keep saying. maybe some people think it hot because almost see Choi Ji Woo chest when she is laying on top of Lee Byun Hun back.

the hot love scene is really of the one with Chu Sang Mi (Jin-young) and Lee Byun Hun. she was wear traditional korean dress and on top of him on the floor. Jin-young is married with a middle-age gyneocologist. he say to her "no sex with wife". that does not make sense. she say "guess he look at too many naked bodies at work and don't want to see another one at home". this make her want and get tire. so that is how come she got attracted to Soo-hyon. and Soo-hyon is young and fit. and he flirt with her and make her feel nice. he tell her she have nice neck and nice body.

the filming of this movie is very good and fluid. the 3 stories of the 3 sisters all having make love with this one man... the stories they link and come together is very good. it make sense in the end.

the movie is not dirty. just have a few lines that talk about sex. and only a few phallic images using food to indicate sex parts. (never like how people refer certain foods to sex parts because food is for eating and if thinking that food is sex part will lose appetite). they use foods like banana, hot dog, cucumber, long slim peppers.

at the end it made sense about why Soo-hyon was doing with the 3 sisters.

the movie is excellent. have excellent actors. excellent script and story. excellent filming technique. excellent theme song... everybody has a little secret... the girl singer sing excellent and have good voice. if you buy this version vcd that is publish by Cinema Service... wait for the credits to finish because it gots the behind-the-scenes of the movie.
