A star of many Chinese vampire comedy-thrillers, the legendary Lam Ching Ying faces his greatest challenge in Exorcist Master, a Hong Kong horror comedy that pits the Taoist faith against a slightly more western one: Catholicism! Wu Ma directs and stars as a Priest Wu, a Catholic priest who takes over an abandoned Catholic church which may be hiding a terrible evil. The local Taoist practitioner Uncle Nine (Lam Ching Ying) opposes the incursion of the western religion - not only because the church may be cursed, but also because he believes Taoism to be hands-down better than Catholicism. The two stubborn men of faith square off over their beliefs, but when a roving gang of Chinese vampires come to town, the two men must put their differences aside to save the town.
