Better than Planet Shining
|
I love this album! It's much better than Planet shining, their previous album. The songs are much catchier, and you can really dance to it. Songs like prism, orbit-3, magenta rain, come again, and How you like me now? are really great! |

Not bad...but still it is dated.
| This cd is good but dated and does not live up to more modern m-flo. I think this is a great cd for its time but not anymore. none of the songs have as great of hooks at the songs on ASTROMANTIC and Beat Space Nine. Its good for m-flo hard core fans only. |

Expo Expo: Why M-Flo Are Pioneers of Spectacular
| This review is very late, I know, but even though Lisa left for her solo project, I still have faith and hope that one day she will go back to m-flo and they'll make more albums. But when it comes down to the very last, most creative and super-diverse album that I had ever heard, this album is what makes me appreciate nearly every single music genre and the Japanese music scene for its rich diversity of music styles. When I first got this cd, I had previously downloaded a couple of tracks when Napster was still around, namely "How You Like Me Now?" among others, but I didn't download the whole thing; in fact, upon sliding the cd into my cd player, it was a long time since I had even listened to any of those songs, and from start to finish, this cd made me love M-Flo more and more. Every single song on this cd (with the exception of "Dispatch, which you most likely have to understand Japanese to truly like) truly stole my heart away, and either made me start break dancing on my linolium, bounce my head outta control, hold my stereo monitors closely, or a combination of the three, which was the case through out nearly every song that jumped out and seduced me with the fascinatingly complex, catchy, and choice diction as well as the master manipulation of all the sound instruments. Taku, the DJ, fascinates me with his music techniques, especially in joints like "Come Again", which blew me away and wish somehow I could get a copy or repress of the 12" single; that song's original usage of the 2-step beat rivals any song I've heard apply the technique in such genuine fashion. The very first song, "Prism", captivated the much mentioned "2012" style throughout the record (which I honestly do feel is how this song sounds like), and this jam (as well as pretty much every other track) shows this essence, reflected moreso in the video if you've ever seen it, and if you have seen it, you know that M-Flo is not the type of group that tries to flash expensive jewlery, sexy woman, or any of that, but they've got their own unique and inimitable vibe that you can't pass up. "Come Again"'s video has that relative vibe, which the club scene popping up, simply harboring that feel-good vibe, and then there's "Orbit-3"'s video that gave you the sense of M-Flo's great humor. Listen to the hiphop saturated "What It Is" cut pop up after the R&B track "Orbit-3" and you might get an idea of just how daring, amazing, and blazing this group was able to get. And I only hope that their trend will continue, that in the future they will unite and kick of a tour, so that there can be hope for more groups to try to match or mark the galaxy-away heights that M-Flo easily flew to. It doesn't matter what music you like, buy this cd, get this album, listen to it from beginning to end, and I know that you will like them. Then you will realize that there was something special that should have been so much more, that should have continued to exponentially multiply into something unimaginably great... This is who M-Flo, Mediarite-Flo, is, was, and may forever someday shall be. That's my word. Peace. |

The more experimental and artistic side shows!
| This album blew me away! Just the way the songs were written, and how they flowed through the CD just made my jaw drop. M-Flo really let everything fly out and experimented with anything, and it worked marvelously! This CD is a must buy for fans of R&B, Rap, easy listening, and practically just about every other genre people are into. |

BUY THIS CD.
| This is an excellent second release by m-flo, who seems only to be getting better with each new release. Though their first CD was already an impressive listen, this one improves on what the last album had, with tracks such as Orbit-3, Prism, and Yours Only. Their musical range has grown greatly from the last album, and this disc is proof of just how adaptable the group can be, ranging from r&b ballads to straight hip hop tracks. All in all, this is a great CD to add to any J-Pop fans collection. |

I've never seen anyone this brave!!!
| This CD is excellent. they just rip through all the genres and take music to a new level...seriously...EXPO EXPO has been one of the most, if not the most unique song(s) I have ever heard. Songs like Prism show their awesome style. At first, it seemed to disappointing to have only 10 songs, I wanted at least 3 more songs but it's okay! Their songs are great. The only thing disappointing to me was the song DISPATCH, which I don't really like, it's proabably the features on that song. I just didn't like it. But the whole album is fresh, and off the hook. |

One Excellent *ALBUM*
| Among all the albums released in late March, m-flo's album is definitely the best. EXPO EXPO features so many new songs with names like Towa Tei and Bahamadia and the quality is incredible. m-flo's musical style is ever changing and the songs on this album are different than that of Planet Shining. Their songs are the most unique of any of the artists I've listened to. m-flo is my number one favorite music group. |
