Although Track 2 is popular back in the old days, my favorite has to be Track 7 - Discarded. The opening piano of this song is simply beautiful. Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -
Tombstone Of Fireflies
December 22, 2006 An Unspoken RealityThe experiences of these two children represent what I called, the unspoken reality of war. For the people fortunate enough to not have gone through it, I suggest going through it with this film. Follow the little boy and girl and their candid eyes, squarely in your living room, as you experience what truly happens to the forgotten and innocent participants of war. I will never forget the opening sequence of the film, where the discarded candy container would unleash the sparkling memories of the brother and sister, as they once again would find each other, even in death. Perhaps all political leaders should view this film. Maybe we will have a better world as a result, one of peace. Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -
November 17, 2006 Groovy!
There can't be anyone who hasn't heard of Mak Kit's Dancing Queen (Track 1) and Under The Dresser Table Mirror (Track 2). There were so many spoofs from these two energetic melodies back then. Messy (Track 3) showcases her powerful and frustrating emotions while If Only (Track 4), One Thousand No's (Track 5) and Miracle (Track 6) display her softer sides. These tracks are then followed by those loud, crazy but adorable songs no one can resist, the kind that just continue to play in your mind after listening. Did you find this review helpful? 1001 Night (UMG Reissue Series)
November 17, 2006 Contains hidden treasures!Although tracks 1 and 7 were the hit songs, I've always thought tracks 2, 8, 9, 10 were also superb songs. Track 10, "Silent Night," is very melancholic; the music accompaniment that concluded this song is very moving, and it is my all time favorite in this album. Did you find this review helpful? The Autumn In Your Eyes is track 3, a beautiful and moving song that I think only Prudence can sing to its potential. Track 2, 4, and 8 are also very pleasant and musical. Coupled with the sounds of the departing aeroplane, the combination can leave listeners breathless. Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

Why (Sony BMG - The Legendary Collection)
October 20, 2006 A true voice...Although this album was not as successful as Prudence's first one, this one contained my most favorite song of all Cantonese pop, and it is the obscure track 4, "I Live For You." The line, "Remember that night (time), you and I, it was paradise..." was sung with such emotion by Prudence that it trembles my heart every time I hear it. I feel like replying to her, that I do remember you... I really do... remember you, and you're right. It was indeed paradise. Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -
Yours Completely Danny
October 20, 2006 A walk down memory lane...When I was young, I recalled my older sister would constantly play Danny's music at the house. She was his fan but I was not. At the time, I found his songs boring. Now that I'm older, I find myself absorbed with Danny's songs. Danny as a talented artist and his poignant songs are truly in a class of their own. Listening to this 5-disc set has instantly brought me back to a time when I was truly happy. Thanks for the memories, Danny Chan. Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This)
