I would love to purchase this album but I do have a couple questions. Does this album also come with a photo book? I would expect so, because the VOL. 1 Pinocchio album had a photo book, then again, this album is cheaper than that one. Is it worth getting? What are the pros and cons? Please respond quickly, I love these girls and I would love my own copy of their work! |

Hot, hot, HOT SUMMER!!!

Krystal looked like a boss! In some pics she's seen in a red vest with red heart-shaped sunglasses while in some other pics she looked so cute yet classy in a huge curly red wig and big red paper tiara (sometimes a pretty red bowl). Sulli looked super duper adorable as always with high-heeled red sneakers, a big ":)" face printed shirt (with wings) and rabbit ears cap ♥. Victoria looks much much more mature and she showed off her feminine, queen-like charm with rec heels, gloves and crimson lips. Yet Victoria also showed off a sporty, sexy image with red headbands and short sporty tops that revealed her shapely abs :x. While Krystal looked like a little bossy princess with blank expression, cold glares and perfectly shaped legs (srsly, I'm a girl and I honestly just stared at unnie's legs @@), Sulli looked like a little angel with bright smiles and cute expressions, and Victoria looked like a queen with strong gazes and confident attitude. The girls' makeups are also reddish. Plus the plain red walls behind... They all bring a really attractive yet so mysterious and unique, just so f(x)!!!! Overall, the visuals are just PERFECT. PERFECT, I tell you. On the front and back covers and on each page of the booklet, the girls' names and the songs' titles plus lyrics are written in a very unique scribblings font. The CD front is like a mini version of the front cover, and I don't really like it like that but the rest is just outstanding! Lastly I wanna say I also got the poster. It was huge and made of hard, rough paper. Very pretty. Like a huge versiob of the front cover :) Overall, this album is definitely a must-have for all f(x) fans. Just buy it, you won't regret it! |

Hot, hot, HOT SUMMER!!!

OK so about this repackaged version of the giỉls' first full length album, I must say I have totally no complaints. The new track, Hot Summer, in my opinion, is even much better than Pinocchio! I know it's just a cover, but I personally think f(x)'s Hot Summer is much better than the original version of Monrose with harder beats yet softer, lighter, cuter and catchier sound. I was like hooked right after the first time listening to the song :x '좋아해도 되나요 (...Is It OK?)', which is an OST from Paradise Ranch, is also included. It was a nice song, but not my ultimate favourite. However, I quite like the soft, cute ballad feeling of the song. Old hits like LA chA TA and Chu~♡ are also included, but I don't think that's necessary, hahaha :) The best part about this album is the packaging :x. Its booklet is like one of the most beautiful booklets I've ever seen!!!! It's thick and filled with very pretty shots of the girls. The main color is red, and the girls all dressed up in red outfits while posing in plain red rooms!!! And it's really attractive :x. And I love how each girl really stood out and shined her own aura very different from the rest. |

I got this a while ago; but no harm in writing the review a bit late. I had to wait for stock; but once it was ready it immediately got shipped out and I received it about a week later. PHYSICAL PACKAGING: It looks almost exactly like the pictures. It comes in about a real sturdy commercial cardboard like most K-Pop albums. The CD is attached on to the album by some round foam thing on the back of the front cover. And to the right are the photos from this Hot Summer album shoot where the girls are in some red rooms. The lyrics are written in between the pages of photos in this nice sketchy font. The only thing that confuses me is where the "Thanks To" are written. THE MUSIC: I liked the music. It comes with the same songs as Pinocchio with the addition of Hot Summer and previously released singles. You can take a listen yourself by searching up the songs on Youtube! Overall, I have no regrets in buying this album and I can't wait for our girls' next comeback! My wallet is ready! FIGHTING! |
