Ayu for everyone
| this is a CD for all people! I imagine all lover of upbeat pop/trance music will like fairyland. Especially kids, teens and girls. And then there's alterna for mostly rock/metal lovers, teens and adults, especially boys. Plus, the boys would probably like to see the sexy photobook in the DVD. |

Photobook
| It's not that much stated in the tracklist, but keep in mind that this CD+DVD comes with a PHOTOBOOK!!! Ayu recorded her video for 'fairyland' in Hawaii. Hawaii is of course beautiful and that's why they also made a photobook of Ayu in hawaii. On the DVD you can see the 200 pictures in ayu's first digital photobook. The 200 pictures also come with a special track called 'fairyland -acoustic-'. |

| It's so obvious that this is gonna top all possible charts from oricon to world charts this summer. Ayu has had almost all of her singles at the #1 position. |

...it's sounds JUST like Angel's Song. I'm a BIG Ayu-fan, but I realized something was wrong when I first heard this song. Listen to Angel's Song again and see how ridiculously similar the two songs are. It's just like when Hikki made that song "Uso Mitai na I Love you". But don't get me wrong; "Fairyland" is still a beautiful song that's derserves some recognition. I found it quite addicitve. "Alterna" is a good song, too, more rockish instead of a "summery" feel like I thought it was going to be. All in all, it was okay. I'm giving this album a 7/10 only because of recycled tunes that were used in "fairyland", and if the same is true for "Alterna", I have yet to notice it. |

| Ayumi's popularity is definitely not declining, and this single, as well as Step You proves it. The two songs have such amazing contrast between the style and mood. Fairyland is a bitter-sweet upbeat pop song with a mysterious intro, it then bursts into the happy chorus. The bridge fo the song definitely adds to the mysterious mood. Alterna, on the other hand, is a hard-edged rock song with catchy beats and an addicting chorus. Both songs are filled with emotion and power. So are the videos. The Fairyland video shows that all fun things must come to end, as the lyrics also suggest. It first shows Ayumi having fun and dancing on the beach with ehr friends, however, the beach-side cabin burns down, along with all the photos. It's a visually stunning video that cost 240 million yen, and it contains the most beautiful scenary, and Ayu herself looks amazing. Again, Alterna is a whole different thing. The video is dark, and shows the typical career of a singer. The video is shocking with many jaw-dropping scenes that you'll have to see for yourself. There is also a making-of Fairyland video in the DVD, and it's newly reported that there is a 200-picture slideshow, with the acoustic version of Fairyland playing in the background. This single has great value, and ti certainly to be one of the best of 2005. |

the time for this single release is coming near...and do you know what? ayu has launch both of her PV. FAIRYLAND - upbeat and really CATCHY song, has a mysterious feeling on it and don't miss the summer feeling. IF you look the PV you will love the song more. fairyland PV has spend about 2 million dollar (WOW!) and the PV is really GREAT. two part that show her true feeling. SHE is great as actress and singer. There is a dancing, story, ayu looks really PRETTY and GORGEUS. ALTERNA - ROCKS!!! its really ROCKS!!! just love the song very much. ITS FRESH and NEW kind of song that ayu sing for us. i've heard fairyland and alterna. i've shocked. this is one of the Ayu's magic which has taken me to the fairyland and back. Can't wait watch the video shot in Hawaii. I'll buy the CD and CD+DVD so i can get those two different jewelry covers. Ayu's magic default setting : ~ON~ |
