WoW..The Alterna PV is awesome..Ayu never ceases to suprise me in every single she releases..It is a weird video but it has a meaning towards Ayu's singing career..In short, no one can replace Ayu and throw her career just like that.. She is an incredibly unique and fantastic artist that no one can ever match..This song totally rocked me when i first heard it..Ayu has evolved so much and it is so great to actually see her grow..

This is probably one of the best singles in Jpop history! I can't believe the difference between the two songs. While fairyland is a SUPERB happy pop song with a huge hawaiian summer feeling, alterna is a rockish metal song. The video clip of alterna is really disturbing, with evil clowns and creepy dolls. Probably the most disturbing but awesome PV ever. On the other side, fairyland is supposed to be a 240million yen video that was created in Hawaii. For sure it'll bring happiness and joy this summer.

I have never been one to enjoy Ayumi's voice, it is a bit nasal for my liking, but this song is quite well done. Ayumi's lyrics are astoundingly poetic, and her music has reverted back to her trance/dance days. The song does indeed sound similar to others which does hinder it's individuality, but not by enough to dubb it 'trash'. This music compliments her voice much more than recent rock/pop songs she has been releasing, in my opinion. Alterna, is something totally fresh, and like it or not, shows Ayumi's innate ability to alter her image constantly to remain fresh and on top. I mark this lower than perfect due to my personal dislike for her voice and it's slight un-originality, but the single itself is most impressive.

I had heard Ayumi's new singles, 'fairyland' and I think that song is perfect! After I heard it, I was keep on playing that song again and again. Can't deny that Ayumi is a wonderful artist!! So, don't ever miss the video of 'fairyland' because it cost about 240 million yen which is the most expensive video in Japan ever!!

PVs of the best quality Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Ayu has had AMAZING PVs lately. STEP you had alot of different styles, is this LOVE? was full of emotion. My Name's WOMEN was the most talked about PV because of it's shocking scenes and sexy moves.

But this single is even better in PVs. The allterna PV is about ayu beeing a doll controled by the record label; but she comes to live and sings. Amazing PV. And the fairyland PV costs 240000000Yen (2.4mil USD) and was shot in Hawaii. That's one of the most expensive videos in Japan ever! Don't miss it!

i've seen the full Alterna video!! Ayu's so cute and the video is so damn cool as ayu becomes a doll in it.the song is catchy and i'll definitely gonna grab this single!

i've seen Alterna video on MTV S.Asia!!! can't wait to grab this single! ayu's so cute, she became a singing doll(kinda puppet) in Alterna vid. the song is quite nice.

Let's just wait and see Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
From what I've heard on Hey Hey Hey and the Panasonic CM, this single's gonna be awesome, and I think it's a must-buy! I, personally, like the CD Only cover better than the cd+dvd one, but I think the dvd will be good to watch. But I don't understand why so many people have written reviews and some people even gave her a bad review! I think we should not judge this product until we've heard it! In my opinion, the performance of Fairyland on Heyx3 was awesome, but if you don't like it, well that's that - but there's no need writing a bad review about the product! We need to hear the ALBUM VERSION of Fairyland before we judge it. And, honestly, I would be extremely suprised if anyone's heard the full version of Alterna. We need to be fair and review the product after we've actually heard it.

I'm not sure of the exact numbers, but I know Ayumi Hamasaki has had most of her 36 singles on the #1 oricon position. This one will hit the number one spot aswell! You'd better buy it now XD
