Imagine yourself alone in the audience of an intimate recital hall, with a handful of top-rated musicians on stage, and Alan, sitting center stage, singing directly to you. The vocals, instrumentals and overall sound quality of this album are outstanding; and reflect the collaboration of true musicians.
In this re-recording, the 9 songs have been modernized and given an acoustic arrangement. Alan's voice is controlled, wrought with emotion, and unparalleled. In my opinion, these songs are better than Alan's original versions -- especially because they demonstrate his growth and maturity as a vocalist.
This album can only be described as BEAUTIFUL. It will leave you breathless.

September 23, 2005 Alan Tam Forever!Great album! The sentimental songs are touching and well produced, the lyrics seem to suit Alan very well. I'm also glad to see Alan writing again, though would love to see him compose a slow song on the next album. The fast songs on this album definitely have a "rock" feel, not a "pop" feel.
