劉青雲（雲）和古天樂（古）是對兄弟，哥哥（雲）是個電腦程式工程師，弟弟（古）在律師事務所工作。兩個人還有一位大哥劉德華（華）。古在追求一喜歡的女生，其女父親經營麻將館生意，為阻止女兒與古交往，因此設局來個「麻將招親」，結果牌技不濟的古，竟在麻將桌上被大大的修辱。大哥華得知此消息。替弟弟報仇板回面子。之後古結識另一位清純的上班女職員梁詠琪（琪）並加緊追求，其並未拒追求，但行蹤古怪神秘兮兮，常下班後便匆忙離去，古摸不著頭緒，決定跟蹤琪，發現琪原來酷愛打麻將，因此開始接觸麻將，並和琪一起打培養共同與趣，因女友的原因，古和華兄弟間的感情也因此日漸改善。

Fun movie

This is a fun movie that guarantees to puts you in a good mood. Great acting all around, especially Gigi Leung, funny and touching. Great image and sound quality too. There's great chemistry between Andy Lau and Gigi. |

Easy Entertainment

This was harmless mindless entertainment -- generally a decent crowd pleaser, especially if you are a MJ addict. Of course the characters were caricatures and there was a bunch of preachy stuff about good sportsmanship and how MJ has some meaning related to the philosophy of life and human relatonships. Light comedy that will bring a smile to your face. |

this movie is really GREAT!! Sean Lau is very good in here although he kind of over does his character but that made him funny HAHA. GiGi sucks in here. Andy Lau was good. Louis Koo was ok. Cherie was ok. But andy and louis' mom was REALLY good!! |
