Excellent series

My sister and I like this series. We like to watch Sheren Teng and Lam Wai. The two little boys are so cute and funny. The actors and actresses did a great job. The theme song is also great. If you have not seen this, this is a must see. If you have seen it, watch it again. |

David Chiang...a wonderful actor
|
I bought this movie because I heard from friends how good it was. And, am I glad I picked it up ! David Chiang is a wonderful actor, as well as good looking, he has aged well from back in his 1970's glory days with Chang Cheh. He was perfect as the lead. His acting was very moving and emotional at times, torn between 2 women ( even though he was wrong to leave his wife). It was good to see Lily Li again. Amy Chan Sau Man was excellent as the charming , happy go lucky wife of David. Their kids were funny, the little boy was really cute. This is a very heartfelt story about life and the consequences that could happen and leave a family torn . A definitely must have ! |

Excellent Movie !!!

WONDERFUL FILM, EXCELLENT CAST !!! I just finish watching this tonight. It was an "EXCELLENT" TVB Movie !!! I don't really even understand Cantonese or Mandarin very well, and I still "LOVED" this 13 VCD series !!! David Chiang (the unfaithful husband) and Amy Chan ( his wife) were paired up wonderfully well together. Many may not know this, but back in 1969, David Chiang was 18 years old, and started his career with Shaw Brothers under the Famous Chang Cheh. David started in many hit movies like : Dead End, Have Sword,Will Travel, Vengeance !, The Water Margin, All Men Are Brothers, Generation Gap, Young People, Five Shaolin Masters, New One Armed Swordsman, Boxer From Shantung, etc, etc. He is a Legendary Actor, as well as charming, handsome,charismatic, and very talented.I really enjoyed seeing him play this role, he did a great job, very touching, there were many times I had tears feeling the pain he showed in his emotions. Amy Chan is always very convincing in all the roles she plays,she is always so likeable and a very talented actress as well. The story is very well written, the plot , surprising and it had me at the edge of my seat many times. I really enjoyed the flash back scenes. These were done quite well. Very heart felt, meaningful movie. A must see for all. You will enjoy this...trust me ! |

Meaningful TV series

I watched this series long time ago when it's out back in the 90s. It's a really meaningful story especially showed in the time where there were many marriage affairs happened (even though it's still many now..hehe) I think those people who are involved in any type of affairs should watch this series, as it shows you a marriage is not developed by one day or two, but years, so you need to cherish your marriage but not destroying it just by some outside attractions. =D It's touching. I recommend to see it. Actually, I am re-watching it now. hehe |
