[소권괴초]

영화의 배경은 청조. 청조 관인이 된 형의문 출신의 고수 임세관은 자신의 입지를 굳히기 위해 형의문 동문사제를 하나씩 제거한다. 형의문 원로 진붕비(전준)는 손자 성룡을 데리고 외딴 곳에서 조용히 숨어산다. 손자 성룡은 무술수련을 게을리 하지만 할아버지를 지극정성으로 모시는 청년이다. 성룡은 '알량한' 무술실력으로 동네 야바위꾼을 물리치게 되고, 그 일을 계기로 무예도장의 사부로 '몰래' 취직하게된다. 할아버지 진붕비가 무술실력을 뽐내는 것을 극도로 싫어하기 때문. 한편 임세관은 진붕비의 거처를 알아내고 진붕비를 죽인다. 뒤늦게 사태를 알게된 성룡은 형의문의 절름발이 '팔각기린'을 사부로 모시고 무술수련에 몰입하고 결국 할아버지의 원수를 갚게 된다.

정가 3형제가 무림의 독초인 탁혼나찰과 마조를 죽임으로 그들의 아들로부터 보복을 받아 도망다닌다. 진남은 산속에서 말썽과 싸움을 일삼은 아들 아룡과 은거하고,진북은 걸인방의 숙방주에 숨어 있고, 그의 아들 아동은 모든 것에 게으르다. 이때 천지쌍살은 진북이 있는 곳을 알아내고 찾아와 숙방주를 죽이나 진북은 빠져 나온다.아령이 집에 돌아와 아버지 진남이 불에 타 죽은 것을 보고 진북을 찾아간다.진북이 한탄하지만 아동이 무예 수련을 게을리해 복수할 가망이 없음을 더욱 한탄한다. 이에 아동은 가출하고, 아룡은 아동을 찾아내어 무예 지도를 한다. 아동이 약간의 무예를 거리에서 보이다 정가권임이 드러나 진복과 숙방주의 딸까지 죽게 된다.이에 아동은 무술을 익히고 아동, 아룡이 힘을 합쳐 천지쌍살과 사대고수를 섬멸한다.

Chan's first directoral film Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
This review is for Fearless Hyena 1 and not for #2. I will talk later about # 2. But first, Fearless Hyena: It's the first time Jackie had the freedom to work on a film. The result is impressive for a first film. The story is not very original but for the time ( 1980 ) it was the standar ( revenge/training plot ). Jackie show"s off some great fights and training sequences, plus you get to see him in superb physical condition. The bad guy in this movie is a great kung fu actor, I d'ont remenber his name but he also play with jackie in Dragon fist and also in Jet Li's Once upon a time in china part 1 ( Jet is fighting him at the end with all those ladders. So that's why I give this film a 8 out 10. I highly recommended this film for fans of old school martial arts films.

Now, for Fearless #2, you get to see Jackie only in a few scenes cause he left the company right in the middle of shooting this movie. That's when he went to Golden Harvest and did Young Master. So for the few scenes he is in it's good but 75% of the rest is just a look a like Jackie, plus the story does not make sense. So here it is.
