Jackie Chan got his early taste of box-office success with his directorial debut in the 1979 action comedy Fearless Hyena. The inevitable sequel arrived four years later, but only after Jackie left the production and producer Lo Wei and director Chan Chuen completed the film themselves, splicing in unused old footage with the parts Jackie had already shot. Anyway, this film has remained one of the most sought-after titles for Jackie Chan's hardcore fans worldwide. Co-starring Dean Shek, Tien Chun, and Ren Shi Guan, Part II features a storyline which follows that of its predecessor closely, a revenge tale in which the young Jackie plays a kid who must train hard in martial arts in order to avenge his murdered family, resulting in lots of kung fu antics!
