What a pleasant surprise! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Who is TANK? He is a hidden gem. Omigawd, why isn't this guy super famous? I like his music (a lot) more than Lee Hom Wang or David Tao's (no offense intended). ^_^ But seriously, his singing and his self-composed songs are all sooo good! When I first landed onto his album, I was surprise how good it is. Definitely check out TANK's songs.

I just got this, along with some others, and I was blown away by how awesome this CD is! Tank has a wonderful voice and all the songs and music blend wonderfully to create an album that will be listened to quite often. I highly suggest that people buy it, yes there is a new album but this has to be in your collection if you are a Tank fan.

Jay + David Tao + Willber Pan = Tank Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
Tank has a great voice that is mix of Jay and David Tao - somewhat similar to Anson Hu. His songwriting is excellent also, showing a very diverse style. And yes, I agree that is style is similar to Jay's, but that's not a bad thing. In my opinion, Jay along with David Tao are the best singer/songwriters in Taiwan. They just have a sincerity, emotion, and passion for music that is unmatched by their contemporaries. It's just that indescribable feeling you get in your skin when you hear a song that's done just right. The singing, the melody, the arrangement, it all just 'clicks'. Tank's music, in my view, comes really close to matching the "Big Two" in terms of that 'feeling'. Just listen to tracks 3 & 4. There are many standout tracks in this album, a few are so-so, but Tanks exudes confidence in every song nevertheless. I have high hopes for his next album to see if he can take his music to the next level.

jay chou style Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
i won't say he'll be the next big thing (like jay chou) but he definitely has some talent and good songs on this album. Some people might look at his appearance and deem he is a bad singer already. those people are shallow. So you ONLY buy cd's for LOOKS? (well then this cd isn't for you). But if you recognize talent as it is..then you've come to the right place.It will definitely be worth your time to check out this album because even older people recognizes that TANK has songs that sound like jay (like my mom haha). But that doesn't mean he copied, just means he wants to get noticed and follow jay's type of singing style. One of tank's songs, some parts he sings like a woman (i like it more than jay's new song for Fearless).
Recommended tracks: #3*,4,5,8*,9
* means i HIGHLY recommend it. For your information, i like jay chou's songs, lin jun jie,etc... (so if you like them, you probably will enjoy Tank's album).
